REMINDER: Your words create your world. They really do. This is one of the things I learned years ago when I was coaching within a powerful personal growth leadership program. This phrase has guided me ever since. So, the next time you say something about yourself (inner monologue or when talking to someone else), pay CLOSE attention to the words you’re using. The actual words that come out of your mouth will tell you what you believe and where you are vibrating. ⚡️ If we’re not paying attention, it’s easy to get caught up in the pattern of fear and doubt. This looks like using words (things like, ‘I doubt’, ‘I’m not ready’, ‘I’m not sure’, etc) that will make you feel tight, restricted and like pulling in your energy. That’s how you know if what you’re saying is empowering, or not. To become more aware, try this practice [SWIPE and SAVE] whenever you fall into this trap. I’ve always had a deep connection to animals and being able to hear and understand them. Being clairvoyant often means you see many images objects people shadows that aren’t there to most peoples eyes. My ancestors speak to me through the animal spirits. I can still clearly remember the day I had an animal spirit show up in my kitchen plain as day as if I was out in the woods staring a fox in the eyes. I’ll never forget that moment. Since then I haven’t had many shocking animal spirit encounters. They’ve mostly been joyous and all inspiring. But this one right here scared me. I felt his presence rush up behind me to attack. When I made it known I knew he was there he stilled and sat. The Wolf brings instinctive abilities to protect oneself and it’s pack. I had an unhealthy relationship with food and it was affecting my well-being. Curious minds inquiring…what have you been praying, meditating, or journaling about? What is it you truly desire to do that you’ve been perhaps avoiding? For me, it was leaving my day job to start my own business so I could let my creativity run wild and have the freedom to make my own schedule and timing. And be of service in a much bigger way. What I’ve found is that doing anything that’s going to push you to your next level is wayyyyy harder when done alone. When you’re surrounded by a trained coach who sees your best, there’s no limit to what’s possible. Don’t underestimate the power of being around someone who uplifts and empowers you to be your divine self. I did leave my job 7 years ago, in part because of the support I had from my coach. With this support, I gratefully wrote two books (Get a PhD in YOU book series), gave a few TEDx talks (that’s a whole other story), started a global podcast in 175+ countries and birthed my coaching certification. There’s no doubt that these goals came to fruition because of the mentorship and support I received. The healing work is important but don’t forget to live your life. This is why we do the work we do. So we can move through the triggers, the fears, the hurts and trauma and shine our light or show up grounded and in your power. Don’t get to caught up in all the healing that you forget to experience life. The freedom. The breakthroughs. The liberation you have IS because of the work or the embodiment. But this past month I’ve really been feeling into this new energy of LIVING. Of enjoying time with my family, with spending time with girlfriends. Fixing up things around the house. Or even just being off social media creating. Just because we aren’t on all the time. Doesn’t mean we can’t receive. I know, I know. Jess how can that be sustainable. How about we shift this into what matters most for you? What are your values? How do you want your life and business to feel or look like? These are questions I’ve been coming to everyday. How do you define being your You-est You? What does that mean for you? For me, I believe that you come to this world as an infinite soul, already aligned with your highest essence (what some might call your higher self, inner being, God-self). So what the F happens along the way, and why do we get so lost? Because, as you grow older you pick up untrue beliefs, stories, and shitty thoughts that are influenced by perhaps your family, schooling, conditioning, religion or society at large. You start to collect pieces of ‘evidence’ that seem true, but are not. You forget or don’t realize that these things aren’t true. Then over time, if you’re not aware, you’ll start to lose connection to yourself and feel lost. You might recognize this as: ⚠️ People-pleasing and bending to fit a certain mold ⚠️ Forcing yourself to fit in a box that is not you ⚠️ Giving your power away to others and not trusting yourself The list goes on...
