[문코치북리뷰 #214] 일류의 조건_저자 사이토 다카시_필름(Feelm)_평화로운 전사 추천도서 '일류, 이류, 삼류...' 어떤 분야에서 마치 등급을 나누는 듯한 등급같은 표현으로 인식됩니다. 보통 ‘일류’라 함은 특출한 사람으로서 나와는 동떨어진 부류로 생각하기 쉽죠. 하지만 이 책에서 말하는 ‘일류’는 애초부터 능력을 타고난 사람들이 아니라, ‘훔치는 힘’, ‘요약하는 힘’, ‘추진하는 힘’을 체화하여 일류로 거듭난 사람을 말합니다. 나만의 ‘스타일’을 확립하면 ‘어떠한’ 미지의 영역을 마주하더라도 단연 돋보이는 ‘일류’가 될 수 있다고 하죠. 가장 이상적인 숙달과정은 기초체력을 쌓은 후 자신의 버릇을 기술로 가꾸며, 본인만의 스타일을 확립하는 것이라고 합니다. 결국 다른 영역의 기술을 가져와 자신의 관점을 대입시켜 적용하면 나름의 고유성과 독창성이 가미된 놀라운 결과물을 얻을 수 있는 것이죠. 꼭 일류가 되야하는 건 아닙니다. 단연 돋보이는 ‘일류’로 거듭날지, 그 자리에 머무를지는 오직 자신의 선택이니까요. 중요한 건 그 선택으로 누구나 일류가 될 수 있다는 것 입니다. 선망하는 대상을 동경하며 배울 점을 요약하고, 모방과 연습을 통해 훔치는 행동을 함으로써, 자신만의 밑그림에 멋진 채색을 할 수 있습니다. 이 책을 통해 삶을 전반적으로 리디자인하며, 자신만의 스타일을 만들 수 있는 기회를 가져보시기 바랍니다.
