This was a project I've wanted to do for a long time! I was not ready for the amount of prep work needed for a good paint job, let alone for a $200 paint job! I tried multiple techniques and materials, 15 hours of sanding roughly. I did several coats of primer over one day, several coats of paint the next day, and several coats of clear the following day. Also, I got the transmission cleaned and painted. A few hours of wire wheel on the drill with that one too🙃 Over all, pretty happy with the results!
