1982 Mexican Spec Datsun 720 4 Door - Stock # - 40113G Hello friends. Here we have one of the earliest made 4 door mini trucks. This is a 1982 Datsun 720 4 door. Under the hood is a J Series 4 cylinder over head valve engine. It has a 4 speed manual to get that engine going. This was obviously a work truck, as they all were, that has been dolled up for sale. You have a solid truck to make what you want. The front and rear seats are from another vehicle. They work but are not for this truck. The front bumper is missing, but they are easily found. The steering appears to be from a late '60's or early '70's Chevrolet truck. You can sell that for much more than a Nissan wheel would cost so you would be ahead of the game. It looks like they put the minimum effort into the door panels. All of this is good news. You can customize it how you want it. I am going to guess the stick shift is a 4 speed. The truck is in decent condition over all. The paint could use a buff. The interior has been upgraded front and back. I am sure these seats are more comfortable than the originals. The big wheels could be replaced for something that is more to this trucks style. This is a very rare find. A lot more of these were sold in the later years. Being a 1982 model there are very few around. The truck comes with its original invoice so you can see where it has been all of its life.
