Hi everyone! I hope you all are doing great! Guess what? I'm currently working on a new YouTube video, yay! I have completed all the filming so now I'm working on editing. Thank you so much for all your patience 💚 A few weeks ago my husband returned back to work so I have been busy getting into a routine with just my two babies and I at home while David is at work. During my pregnancy I did receive some comments from others wondering how can I take care of two little ones with my disability.. similar to when people were unsure about me taking care of ONE baby because of my disability.. Well I can say we are doing pretty well! Just like when I became a mama of one, I have adapted well to being a mama of TWO! It has honestly been going smoother than I, myself, thought it would. Yes, of course there are some challenges once in a while (isn't that motherhood for every mama?) but I have been overcoming challenges all my life, I guess it's my normal. I LOVE being a mama to my little prince and princess! I'm currently taking care of a 4 year old son, a 2 month old daughter, a dog, a kitty, and a house.. I have been breastfeeding my little princess (a new adventure I have learned to adapt to this time around. I'm doing awesome at it!), she feeds every 2 to 3 hours throughout the day and night. All of this has been keeping me pretty busy lately, and on top of that with my disability I take a little bit more extra time completing every day tasks (but I CAN do it all!) So video work time has been very little at the moment. But that is what my next YouTube video is going to be all about! Talking about and showing a day in the life of a Mommy living with a disability caring for now two little ones while my husband is gone at work all day. I'm probably going to split this video into two different parts since I have captured quite a bit of video footage from one of our days! 2 months of this blessing 🩷 Happy 2 months sweet little princess! Willow has the sweetest little smile which she always greets us with the very moment she wakes up in the morning. She loves her swing, loves music, loves being talked to and being held, and she loves being walked around. Her happy little coo is so adorable! Earlier this month this little princess got to meet her grandma and grandpa on her daddy's side of the family. She also met her great aunt, great uncle, second cousin, and great grandpa from her mommy's side of the family this month. Daddy has gone back to work so she is spending some of the days with just her big brother and Mama. Big brother Jesse has been a great little helper! We love this little girl with all our hearts! And just like that, our sweet little Willow girl is one month old already 🩷 We are so in love with this little princess! Willow is so tiny but is such a BIG blessing to our little family. I thank God everyday for this little one and for her wonderful big brother 🩷🩵 This morning was Willow's follow-up from her tongue-tie and upper lip-tie procedure, she is healing up well! She hates doing her tongue and lip exercises 😔 but calms down quickly when we just hold her after. She LOVES being held and talked too. Sometimes this mommy has a hard time setting her down, I just want to soak up every moment with my girl. Willow has also been doing weekly weight and feeding checks at the hospital.. yesterday was the most recent. Willow's feeding and weight has improved since the procedure! Hi everyone! Thank you so much for all the congratulations and prayers 🩷 It has been one week since our precious little princess Willow entered our arms, via C-section. We are at home recovering and loving our girl. Jesse is the best big brother and has been such a wonderful little helper. He adores his baby sister! Sometimes even struggles with sharing "his baby"! Willow is so sweet and an absolute doll. I have so much love for my little girl! I'm getting stronger each day but still have a lot of recovery ahead. I'm experiencing pain and a lot of soreness at my incision site but the pain medication is helping. A couple days ago I was losing my balance and almost fell backwards while getting into the shower. I caught myself from falling but pulled on my incision in the process. Ouch! That hurt! I'm going to see my doctor tomorrow. A new adventure this time around has been breastfeeding. I wanted to try breastfeeding when my little prince Jesse was born but he didn't latch, so I had to pump and bottle feed with my first baby. Willow does latch. While in the hospital, the nurses were wonderful with teaching me tricks and tips when it comes to breastfeeding. They even helped me find the right positions that make it a bit easier for me to breastfeed with the challenges my disability brings. Today is Jesse's last day of being a 3 year old and this Mama's heart can't take it 😭 A couple nights ago we got to see where he will be attending school in the fall.. How is he already so big?! Hi everyone! I hope you are doing well! Thank you so much for all the birthday wishes, you made my birthday even more special 💚 I love you all so much! This year I got some really cool birthday gifts! Dad and Mom gifted me my first two pairs of BILLY Footwear for my birthday this year, and I absolutely LOVE them! These shoes are specially made for people who wear AFOs/braces daily like myself. Look how cute they are too! Today was the very first time I got to try a pair on, and it was the easiest time I have put a pair of shoes on. I didn't have to spend the extra time and work with wiggling my brace into a shoe and then my feet, no tying either. Just slip my brace and feet in, then zip and ready to go! I also LOVE that BILLY has made adult size shoes too, and not just kids sizes. When brands make adaptive clothing most of the time it seems to only be made in children sizes... We are down to only 1 month! - One last month of physical therapy twice a week. - Now baby doctor appointments every single week. - All baby clothes, blankets, etc. washed and ready for our little princess to wear. - Willow's princess nursery is almost 100% completed, just need some help hanging up a few more things. - Bassinet is ready for Willow to sleep closer to mommy to make the first nights home a little easier. - Bottle washing now. - Hospital bag packed, still waiting to hear how long they are planning to keep Willow and I in the hospital. - Still will be needing the help of my walker for a little over a month as my body recovers from the C-section and work hard on regaining strength. - Mommy is always tired, has declined physically, Cerebral Palsy muscles seem to want to tighten up more than usual (my physical therapist keeps noticing this while stretching me) , but mommy is still going and I'm excited to hold my sweet Willow Karlee! 🥰 The C-section is scheduled for 39 weeks but Jesse broke out at the very beginning of 38 weeks (8 days before his scheduled C-section birth). My doctor has mentioned if I go into labor as early as February 4th they will take Willow.
