One of the best views of Tokyo Sky Tree is right by the Sumida River in Asakusa. Literally sat by the riverbank to pause and enjoy the peace and quiet. A bit too early for the Kochia season but nonetheless it was still beautiful. Best to go second to third week of October where the Kochia hills are sure to be red as cherries. Entrance to the park is not expensive but traveling 120kms away from Tokyo can be. Booked a tour from Klook at around 5,700PHP (bus, side trips and all you can eat lunch) and I would recommend just traveling DIY for half the price. five things i learned from staying at a capsule hotel || @ninehours9h 1. itโs way bigger than it looks โthe bed is bigger than a single sized bed and the height of the pod is enough for me to sit upright (iโm 160cm) 2. very instagrammable โ at least at nine hours! swipe left for more photos and videos! 3. super affordable โ well maybe not all branches but the one i booked, which was in Takebashi-Tokyo was only 1200PHP a night. book early to score discounts or check @traveloka @agoda @bookingcom for special rates. 4. clean and cozy โthey clean every single day and knowing Japanese culture they are very particular with tidiness and cleanliness in general. you only need to check out by 10AM every day so they have time to clean. i didnโt find this an issue as all i need to check out was myself and not my belongings in the locker room. youโd also want to spend more time exploring the city anyway! 5. the idea of sleep and run โyou literally have to embrace this concept. since itโs a capsule hotel, your space is limited. you have to fix your stuff in the locker area and have to share both the bath and wash room. would i do this again? definitely! would i recommend it? yes but only if youโre traveling solo. this is the cheapest option than booking an airbnb since you have no one to share the cost with. a more comprehensive post on my facebook page if youโre interested! questions are more than welcome as well. ๐ฏ๐ต #DenishkaTravelsTOKYO
