Hello! I’m Erika! Owner of Erika Sandoval Event Planning and Design or Erika Sandoval Events for short. I have lots of new followers since doing my last intro and wanted to start the year by introducing myself to you! Bullet points are my fave so I’ll use those! 😂 . ✨I started my love for planning since I was 13 but didn’t know I could do it as a career. It took our 5 tiered wedding cake falling on our wedding day 15 years ago that started my path to owning my business and making dreams happen for others! ✨ The one thing I cherish most is making memories. I had a great childhood and love looking back at life. “The good old days” are happening now so this is my WHY! Many of you know I lost my only brother/sibling last June unexpectedly and cherishing his memories is what has helped us. All the more reason as to why helping couples make wonderful memories is of upmost importance to me. ✨I have 3 kiddos (son: 18, 2 daughters: 13 and 11) and 2 dogs (Bruno after Cinderella’s dog and Chewie after Chewbacca)! ✨I’ve been happily married for 15 years and our secret so far is “The 5 love languages”! Read it if you haven’t!! ✨I was born in Mexico 🇲🇽 and immigrated to the US when I was 7. We were going to move to Cali (Bay Area) where my family is from but my dad went through the big 1989 earthquake and left as fast as he could! We ended up in Colorado! ✨ Hot Cheetos, cough syrup and cough drops as well as mint gum makes me sneeze about 10 times! ✨ I love details on wedding days so I was the first planner to help photographers style invitations and details to save them time! I have invested a few grand on kits, ring boxes, details and backdrops 😅 but I wouldn’t have it any other way! ✨My favorite moments in a wedding day are the first look and room reveals! ✨I love LOVE and feel so lucky with each wedding I get to produce!
