Whether you are an advanced hiker, or a beginner like us, there are trails for all skill levels! Getting out and walking the trails, is such an awesome way to see Sedona! Why I love hiking in Sedona is the super fresh air, the beauty of Sedona surrounding you, and seeing all the details of nature up close! Donalee and I have been best friends since high school! On our very first trip together, we went to Sedona and hiked Boynton Canyon! This is one of the many reasons Sedona has a special place in our hearts! Boynton Canyon Trail is a stunning hike through a picturesque canyon that moves you through a varied landscape! The real gem of this trail is found in the final 1/3 of the hike, as you enter a high forest with large pines, oaks and even alligator junipers! And you can feel the vortex here! When hiking in Sedona, we recommend good walking shoes or hiking boots, and don't forget sunscreen and bottled water! And definitely be ready to take pictures! There are photo ops everywhere! You won't even be able to decide what to point your camera at, because it is all just so stunning! There is tons of great information and tips on Google about all the awesome hiking trails in Sedona!
