Hallo Freunde, Die Gran Turismo Sunday League Season 10 ist vorbei und hier ist mein ausführlicher Bericht dazu! Das war meine erste Liga nach über einen halben Jahr Pause und (noch) Selbstbewusstseinproblemen. Im Shootout lief es mit der Toyota Supra '18 überraschenderweise sehr gut. So gut das es für einen Platz in Liga 2 gereicht hat. Eine Liga, die mir ganz schnell (sehr hart) gezeigt hat, wie stark dort die Fahrer sind. Gemäß des Rennkalenders und eines Updates habe ich mich dann entschlossen mit der #corvette C7 zu fahren, da man mit ihn extrem viel Sprit sparen kann und trdm. sehr flink unterwegs ist. Ich wollte ein Auto nutzen, mit den ich vertraut bin und nicht viele verwenden. Jedoch wurde mir sehr schnell bewusst, dass dieses Auto eine ganz große Schwachstelle in mir abruft: Der Reifenverschleiß bei Padfahrer (welcher ich aktuell bin). Dies wirkte sich dann auch in den Rennen aus und entsprechend sind 4/5 Rennen nicht sonderlich gut aus gegangen, weil das Management gefehlt hat. Dies hat mir gezeigt, dass ich bei der nächsten Season viel mehr an mir arbeiten muss und auf Autos zurück greifen muss, mit den ich Vertraut bin und besser managen kann. Alles in einen war es trotzdem ein gutes Comeback für mich und ich konnte einiges aus der Season lernen und werde stärker zurück kehren. ;) Danke das du bis hier hin gelesen hast und einen wunderschönen Start in die Woche! Think of the JGTC cars like the Castrol TOM'S Supra and the ARTA NSX, or road cars like the Skyline GT-R and the RX-7. But one of the most striking vehicles to me was the blue and yellow, race-modified Impreza from the original game. It helped that the car was fast, to be honest. But it wasn't until GT3 that I learned of its true identity - it was actually a WRC rally car! The Subaru Impreza replaced Subaru's Legacy car in the World Rally Championship in 1993 as its flagship Group A machine. Prodrive, the team running Subaru's rally efforts at the time, recognized that the new platform needed to be smaller and more nimble than the predecessor Legacy. The original Impreza was 160mm smaller in length with a 60mm shorter wheelbase. Power came from a turbocharged flat-4 engine (traditional for Subarus) and it was also the first rally car to have active differentials to control the torque to the wheels. The Impreza made an immediate splash in the WRC, with Ari Vatanen and Markku Alén finishing in P2 overall at the Rally Finland of 1993. However, the Impreza really began to shine in the 1995 season. The FIA tried to slow the cars down with new restrictive air intakes, so Subaru developed a new boxer engine with new camshafts to counter it. The legendary Colin McRae would win the 1995 Drivers Title and Subaru would take the first of three consecutive Constructors Titles. Some of the famous names to have driven the Impreza over the years include Colin McRae, Carlos Sainz, Petter Solberg, Tommi Makinen, and Richard Burns. During its 15 year lifespan, the Impreza took 3 Drivers Titles and 3 Constructors Titles, cementing its place as one of the legendary cars of Rally racing. And its legacy lives on through the current WRX line of road cars and numerous depictions in racing games throughout the years.
