It's officially Fall ! 🍂 🍁 I know it's been a while. . . But I'm still here! I thought when the kids went back to school I'd have all this 'free time.' But that hasn't been the case. I started a new job that I LOVE doing social media over at @puravidaflemingisland (follow their page if you're not already... they're an INCREDIBLE medspa! Better yet... book yourself an apt and have some 'me' time!) So between my job,family time, being 'chauffer' to 3 elementary kids and a preschooler, helping with homework, tee ball, ect... it's been real busy. 🥰 And I have to say ... I love it all. * The TLDR version ... my life be like; family, job, cats, with Disney sprinkled in. * With that said ... we're excited for all things Fall to come. Pumpkin patch... The 4th of July is extra special to us. 🇺🇸 💍 💞 It isn't just Independence Day and fireworks. It's our anniversary! * * 1 year of engagement 2 houses owned 3 kitties adopted 4 sons created 5 summers as Floridians 6 streaming services 7 niece/nephews 8 million times fighting over the thermostat. 9 seconds into a show before one of us passes out. 10 years as parents 11 plus 2 days till our next trip sans kiddos. 12 YEARS married and many more to go! It's the first Friday in June! Do you know what that means ?!?! My FAVORITE day! National Donut Day!! Last month, I crossed Everglazed donuts off my bucket list. It did not disappoint, and I'll definitely be back! There are so many delicious choices to choose from. And the iced coffee was on point, too! If you're looking to head to Disney Springs to try an Everglazed donut... I highly recommend going early. Everglazed opened at 9am the day we went. We got there about 10 minutes early and there was no line. By the short time it took us to finish our order, get our food, and walk out ... there was a massive line already! Skin cancer is actually the most common type of cancer in America. But it is possible to prevent. * Say it with me... SPF is your bestie. Doesn't matter if it's summer, Spring, Fall or Winter. * I'm really passionate about skin cancer because it has affected my family. Including... me. When I was 16, I was at my local tanning salon every other day. I spent about 5 years doing this. And I highly regret it now, but I was ignorant then. #knowbetterdobetter I've had too many moles removed to count, stitches because they had to cut so deep around the mole to ensure they've gotten it all out. And I've had squamous cells blasted off my face as well. And so far.... I'm one of the lucky ones. Others aren't so fortunate. Take care of your skin, and your youngster's skin. It's important! It isn't just about cancer ... all those UV rays age your skin faster, too. 😉
Happy Mother's Day !!! Today was a very special day, as I got to spend it with not only the boys who made me a Mama .... but my own Mama as well. I don't get to see her as often these days as we live across the country from each other. But I'm thankful for getting to spend this day with her. 🥰.
It was my parent's first time in #galaxysedgedisneyworld ! We failed to get a Rise Against the Resistance fast pass at 7 am ... but we scored one at 1 pm! I'm so grateful my parents got to experience that ride. That ride, and Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railroad, are my favorite rides in #disneyshollywoodstudios . Are you a Star Wars fan ...?

I thought I'd share my lash journey as I set out to find the perfect lashes. These are the Lashify Fluff in 14s. Soooo easy to use ! If you're someone who struggles with traditional glue on lashes, I hope this helps! The three main things I was looking for in lashes were: 1) Ease of use! I'm clutzy, not coordinated, and have shaky hands! I needed lashes that aren't hard to apply. 2) No chunky band along my lid, or obvious magnets. 3) longevity. Lashes that stay on for at least a few days and can be reusable versus one and done! Influenster and Coola sent me these products to try and I'm so thankful. Let me tell you.... I spent a lot of time at the tanning bed as a teenager/young adult. It felt so good to sit in the warmth of a tanning bed on those cold Wisconsin days, and Iooooved having tan skin year round. * What I didn't know then, was how badly I was damaging my skin... and the risks I was taking. Fast forward years later, and I had some 'unusual looking' new moles. I've had to have many moles removed and biopsies over the years. So many pre cancerous moles ranging from mild, moderate and severe. The severe moles have had to be carved out all around the moles, to make sure every little bit is removed, causing stitches and scars to my skin. But... I'm one of the lucky ones, as they've only been pre cancer. And with dermatologist visits every six months minimum, we keep a close eye on any new moles and changes or growth to current ones. * In addition to the precancerous moles... I also earned myself some premature deep-set wrinkles! The damage from sun and tanning beds is real, trust me! * Know better... do better ! I now take much better care of my skin, it's never too late! I've been digging these Coola creams with SPF. They leave my face feeling hydrated.... and protected from the sun's rays. Bonus... They're vegan/cruelty free and anti pollution. The purple cream is for under my eyes, and the blue is for the rest of my face. And the purple also doubles as an eye night cream. 🎉And just like that.... the boy who made me a Mom turned ten years old! 🎉 * They always tell you that time flies. That babies don't keep. That they grow so fast. * But when the doctor places that tiny newborn babe in your arms, you don't believe it. All you focus on in that moment is that teeny tiny little baby that is a piece of you. That depends on you. * It changes who you are. You have a new title. A new role more important than any other role you've had thus far. * But it goes fast. It goes oh so very fast. This little boy is over halfway through his childhood already. In just the blind of an eye. * His wish list is no longer a lot of toys... he wants a cell phone and electronics... and a robe. 😆 He makes himself breakfast and lunch, and doesn't need my help. He wipes his own booty, picks out his own clothes, does his homework without assistance, and knows who Santa really is. But you know what he still needs sometimes ? A hug from Mom. And he still let's me coordinate our family's Halloween costumes. 😂 which I'm going to milk for as long as I can. 💖 I hope he forever welcomes and wants a hug from Mom, and doesn't become 'too cool' for that. I hope he has the best birthday ever and slows down just a weeeee bit now that he's double digits. 😍
I promised a post about some of my favorite eats (and drinks!) at @disneysanimalkingdom and I didn't forget! * * * Swipe to see some faves -The new 'Raya and the Last Dragon' soft serve cone is a strawberry vanilla twist. The cone is dipped in blue colored white chocolate and has sprinkles. 💙 - The Harambe 'Fruit Market' stand in Africa sells a delicious, seasoned, freshly grilled corn on the cob. This is a great snack credit for those on the dining plan, and one of our favorites. My kids get tired of all the same old same old snacks, this is one we all love! - We also love the Harambe Market quick service chicken bowl (they have a rib combo too!). And the Snow leopard frozen drink which has snow leopard vodka with passion fruit, kiwi, and mango. Sooo refreshing on a hot day ! - The warm brownie sundae! Vanilla bean ice cream on a warm brownie, drizzled with caramel, and topped with Mickey ears (cookies!) So good! - The rum blossom (with alcohol) or Night blossom (without alcohol). The beautiful frozen drink has bacardi Rum, and layers of apple and dessert pear limeade. The little balls on top are edible Boba balls. This refreshing drink always hits the spot! - We love ALL entrees at the Satu'li canteen quick service. Because four boys wasn't enough... we've added another to our crew. Meet Grogu! 🤣🤣🤣 My kids cracked up when they saw this picture.... 'Baby Yoda! How'd he get in our picture ? Was he invisible?!' . You can find this photo spot at the wall between Toy Story land and Galaxy's edge. I have to tell you guys my 'proud' moment yesterday. I am terrified of rollercoasters. Add motion sickness to the fear, and I usually skip all coasters. It's worked out for our family because my youngest was always too short, so I'd find something for him and I to do while Daddy and and big boys did the coasters. Well my youngest is now taller than the 38 inch mark, so back in December I stepped out of my comfort zone and rode the 7dwarves Mine Train so that our whole family could ride.... and yesterday, I further stepped out of my comfort zone and rode Slinky Dog. And I will say .... I didn't hate it. I faced my fear, and realized it wasn't near as scary as it looked to this roller coaster fearing gal. Its definitely not my choice of a ride.... I'll take Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railroad over Slinky any day.... but I'm proud of myself for stepping out of my comfort zone! By the way... Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railroad is seriously the cutest ride. It's so fun! A 'must do' in Hollywood studios, Disney knocked it out of the park. I can only hope the Ratatouille ride in Epcot is as awesome when it opens. * What have you done to step out of your comfort zone that you're proud of?! 😍
Can't believe this girl's trip was three years ago already. So many memories. These girls have always made it happen, after I moved away from WI they've made sure we have regular girl's trips. When I moved to Oklahoma we met half way in St. Louis. That trip was a blast. From carriage rides throughout the city, fancy dinners overlooking the arch, sliding through floors in the city museum, and wax museums. When I moved to Florida we've had two Disney girl's trips and also chilled at Jax beaches near me and my neighborhood pool. Thankful to have these humans in my life who don't let distance ruin a thing. I look forward to squishing them in the biggest bear hug when the world is not so crazy. I feel fortunate to have many friends that I've remained close to despite all the moves we've made. Are you blessed with a friend(s) who you can count on no matter what? 🥰 Share your story!

Happy 4th birthday to our little Grand Finalé. Asher completed our family in a way I didn't even know we needed. He was our missing piece. He is so silly, smiley and sweet. I had so much fun yesterday at Epcot Festival of the Arts! Swipe to see some of my favorite eats. The food and wine festival always has my heart, but the art festival is a close second. Moelleux a la fromboise et aux chocolats valrhona(molten chocolate and raspberry cake with pure origin valrhona chocolates) abd frozen French martini. (Grey goose, vodka, Chambord liqueur, pineapple, orange and grape juice with lemon lime foam). . Popping bubbles cocktail. Honorable mention but not pictured.... the rainbow sherbert glitter dream ale. It was DELICIOUS, with actual edible glitter. . Salmon and cream gateau with egg yolk cream, paddlefish caviar, and micro herbs. . Red wine braised beef short ribs with parsnip puree, broccolini, baby tomatoes and aged balsamic (this was DROOL worthy) Coq au vin (chicken roulade with violet mustard, candied carrots, pancetta crisp, marble potatoes, and beurre Rouge sauce. Opera cake (almond jaconde, coffee buttercream, and chocolate ganache). . Passion fruit mousse with dragon fruit jam. . Ratatouille. Lemon blood-orange tart. . Sushi donut (donut shaped sushi featuring salmon, tuna, shrimp, cucumber and sesame seed over a plate with Wasabi aioli, Sriracha and eel sauce . I pretty much had to be rolled out of Epcot, surely 100 pounds heavier but WORTH IT!!!!
This is the part of virtual school that I like. No more rushing out the door, late. Prior to kids, I was neeeeever late. Being late gave me anxiety and I was either early or smack dab on time. And then... I had kids. And now we're late more often than on time. Are you early, on time, or late ?! ⏱⏰

I feel like most of 2020 just floated along, and I sat as a bystander. Watching it float along, but not really part of it for most of the year. There were moments when it absolutely hit me like a truck and I knew I was living in it. Like when I lost two people I love dearly. Or when we bought the home we rented for the last three years. Or when we adopted not one, but THREE sweet kitties. But a HUGE part of the year almost drifted, with me just waiting for it to be over. I don't want 2021 to be like that. A big waiting game, just waiting for things to pass. I'm determined to focus this year. To make goals and go for them. To be present. To soak up every single slice of sunshine that I possibly can. I'm determined to find more joy in the little things, and stop letting the bad dominate my world. I guess this is a little bit like a Resolution.... almost 3 weeks late. But better late than never, amirite?!? What are your resolutions? Did you make any? 😍

We've explored many parks in Clay and Duval counties, so today we ventured to St. John's county. We scoped out their playground and trails. We loved Alpine Grove Park. It was an iced coffee, playground, and hiking kind of a day. There is no one I'd rather adventure with than these sweet boys. Perfect Florida weather. What's your weekend looking like?

Y'all, I used to be a MESS with glue on lashes. They frustrated the ever loving snot out of me, and I've glued my eyelids together at least twice. 🤦♀️ Then I found these gems! Each set comes in smaller pieces making it easier to use. I've also found applying to the underside (as these are designed) is easier than trying to place the lashes on top of the lid. Plus, this gives them a much more natural look in my opinion, as there is not visible band on top of the eyelid. If my clutzy, messy self can do these lashes, anyone can ! 99% of the time when I need to make a password. Why.... why.... why.?!? This literally happened today. My kids asked me to create them an email account last week. I came up with this 'awesome' password and when they wanted to get on their account today for the first time since we made it.... I totally forgot the password. Happy National Son's Day! I am so fortunate to have not one, not two, not three, but four amazing little gentlemen. These boys are charming, sweet, energetic, inquisitive, and full of spunk. I admire them each in their own way. Its crazy to me how different, yet similar they all are. I couldn't be prouder of them for all their achievements so far. I am one lucky Mama!

Back in the day (what feels like forever ago), I went through many heartbreaks before I found my person. At the time, I felt so unlovable. So miserable and dejected. I'm a person who thrives on connections. Closeness to a person who truly gets me and loves me for who I am is everything to me. So failed relationships equated to a failure in ME in my eyes. Looking back, they clearly were not the right men for me, but I couldn't see it in the moment. Looking back, those experiences and failed relationships also made me grow and learn and become the person I am today. Something I also didn't realize in the moment. They helped me learn what I want (and also important.... what I didnt want) in a relationship. Those moments in life where you feel your lowest, I'm here to tell you that it gets better. I'm here to tell you that you ARE loveable. That you're growing. That things can get better if you pick yourself up and keep trying. Whatever your aspirations may be. Keep trying! Whether it is relationship goals. Career goals. Skill goals. Friend goals. Anything. 🥰 Make your rock bottom a solid foundation for a beautiful life. 🥰 There was a time in my life I really needed to hear this. So I'm leaving it here in case you do, too 😘
TGIF you guys ! Another week of virtual school for these little people in the books. And while my feed on social media is blown up with all my Fall lovers, I'm still over here living for summer. I'm not kidding when I say I L I V E for the summers. However, I wouldn't mind if it gets a little less.... sticky outside. 🤣 Even though I live for summer TEMPS, I am undoubtedly looking forward to all the Fall activities. Carving pumpkins and 'Mandalorian' binge watching, to name a few. 😉 What are you most excited for during the Fall?

He is my number one. He may say stupid things from time to time (don't we all) but he is the BEST husband and father. He busts his chops every single day to provide for us. He puts in long hours at work, out in the heat, physically draining. And then he still does SO MUCH around the house for us. He builds me the things I want, does the chores I hate, and takes care of our babies in the way only a Dad can. We are a funny pair in the way that we are total opposites about 90% of things. He loves the cold, I love the heat. He loves hunting and fishing and getting dirty, and I .... don't. 🤣 I love Disney and donuts and coffee.... and he doesn't. At all. 🤣 He's neat and organized... and I'm messy and NOT organized. I'm a spender. He's a saver. I'm bubbly, talkative, a social butterfly. He is quiet and anti social. I want to go go go. He wants to stay home and just chill. I'm emotional and anxiety ridden, an open book who wears her heart on her sleeve. He never, ever cries, rare to show emotion, never anxious, and is the farthest from an open book. I have to pry to get out 'ew, feelings.' He is the grill master. I bake and slow cook. He's motivated and has amazing self control. I lack motivation and have ZERO self control. I'm impulsive, he's a thinker. I love reading and he loves numbers. And yet, through all these things and more .... we just... work together. Not without actual work, of course. Marriage is definitely hard work. But it's worth it. HE is worth it. And judging by all the things he does for us, all the BS he puts up with from me, and his actions.... he thinks I'm worth it, too. 🥰 And through the struggles. The hard times. The ocassional arguments. We have fun together. So, so much fun. Halloween is my FAVE. 🎃 If you know how crazy I am about baby Yoda, then you should also know that themed costumes are my jam. My 9 year old is starting to be 'too cool' for family themed costumes. If I'm lucky, I can squeak one more year of a themed costumes with him. Thoughts on a theme for four brothers? Bonus if the theme includes Mom and Dad 🤣. Last year we did DC: Bathman and Robin, Superman, the Riddler. We've done Star Wars. PJ masks. Avengers. Spam me with ideas. 🎃🎃🎃
