This example shown here is a custom one converted back to stock made by and purchased from @s8kur81 in 2021. Details were added by me. The final generation of the Pontiac GTO was reintroduced in the U.S in 2004 as a captive import from Australia being a rebadged Holden Monaro 2-door mid size muscle car sold for the American market. Despite the initial high sales, the GTO wasn’t received well due to its conservative styling, the competition from other brands and was expensive. The addition of aggressive hood scoops, the 6.7L LS2 V8 replacing the 5.7L LS1 V8, and minor styling revisions were added quickly the following year to alleviate critics that it wasn’t a worthy successor to the GTO nameplate. Nevertheless, sales ended in 2006 due to the Monaro’s discontinuation as mandatory new airbag standards for 2007 would have prevented it to continue; increasing its price and demand was unfeasible, with the last units being made in June 2006. Total sales would make up over 40,808 over the course of three years, and indirectly replaced by the G8 Sedan in 2008. With the death of the Pontiac brand in 2010, the GTO nameplate no longer exists today as of 2023, with no direct successor. It has a number of HKC24 and is based on the 1975 Chevrolet K5 Blazer with the convertible top as seen in the film Jaws (1975) driven by Martin Brody. It is currently in production. The second generation Chevrolet K5 Blazer was introduced as a 2 door SUV for the 1973 model year, replacing the previous generation and sold for the American market. It originally had a removable top from 1973-1975, with 1976-1991 models switching to a half cab instead due to safety concerns. The Blazer was part of GM's "Rounded Line" full-size truck generation, known as the Square Body. It was also sold under the GMC brand as the Jimmy, with both variants available in both rear-wheel and four-wheel drive configurations with the four-wheel drive variants accounting for the majority of sales. It later spawned a smaller SUV known as the S-10 Blazer in 1983, as its own model. It was produced until 1991, with the third and final generation introduced in 1992, though it was short lived as the 4 door Tahoe replaced it completely after 1994. The nameplate continued with the S10 Blazer, later renamed to the Blazer with its 2nd generation until 2005. The nameplate still exists as of 2023, as an unrelated crossover for the American market. The casting is a modified version of Jun Imai's Toyota 2000 GT casting, with an identical base but a completely different body and interior due to being a roadster. The car is designed by Mark Jones with a model number of CFR18. It has been only been produced as a premium casting for the Entertainment Series twice, with its debut issue in 2015, and an identical re-release in 2023, which is this one purchased at Target for $6.49. Sean Connery's height was the reason for this decision supposedly, and a targa version of the car was considered for production but was canceled. It helped increase visits to local Toyota dealerships worldwide to see the car in person after general audiences learned that Toyota built it. As for the 2000GT coupe itself, it was in production from 1967 to 1970 for the Japanese market, with limited units available in the US and European markets. From the monsterous rear wing that looks over the engine cover’s transparent hexagonal carbonate plates, to the enlarged front splitter and rear diffuser which guard the air flow around and under the car with purpose, there is an unmistakable purity of intent that the SuperVeloce fulfills.” #hotwheelsnyc #hotwheelsofficial #toyphotography #hotwheelsdreamteam #hotwheelscustom #2010 #lamborghini #lamborghinimurcielagosv #murcielago #murcielagosv #hwcnyc

• 1990 Volvo 240 Drift Wagon - Volvo. “Invest in Durable Goods.” • Specs Top Speed: 108 MPH 0 to 100: 14.5 Seconds BHP: 114 HP Drive: Rear-Wheel Price: $19,585 Year: 1990 • Summary The Hot Wheels 1990 Volvo 240 Drift Wagon debuted for the 2022 mainline under the HW Drift Series as a new casting designed by Fraser Campbell. It has a production number of HCT20, made in Malaysia and currently in production since 2022. It is based on the facelifted version of the 1986-1993 Volvo 240 Wagon sold for the American, European and Asian markets. This one has been modified to become a drift wagon, with widened fender flares, tinted yellow headlights and windows, an exposed hood vent with side exhausts near the front doors, and an aftermarket roof spoiler. The casting’s interior has two dogs in the back, possibly in reference to the MBX Vista Cruiser and Villager and an chrome interior to provide a break in the front grille (which is chrome). This one shown here is the 2022 debut release in Oxblood. It was purchased at Target on October 5th, 2022 for $1.19. The Volvo 200 Series of cars was introduced for the 1974 model year for the American, European, and Asian markets. It was available as a 2 door / 3 door sedan or 3 door estate configurations. Later versions of the car later split off from the 200 name, becoming the Volvo 240 and Volvo 260 over the course of production. The car remained very popular, lasting production for much longer than most cars have, from 1974 until it was eventually discontinued and replaced by the Volvo 850 and Volvo 760 respectively in 1993. The nameplate does not exist today, as a modern successor to this car would be the Volvo S90 and Volvo V90 since 2016. #hotwheels #hotwheelsnyc #hotwheelsofficial #toyphotography #hotwheelsdreamteam #hotwheelsofficial #hotwheels2022 #hwdrift #1990 #volvo #volvo240driftwagon #volvo240wagon #hwcnyc

• 2009 Pagani Zonda R - Pagani. “What More Could You Want?“ • Specs Top Speed: 233 MPH 0 to 100: 2.6 Seconds BHP: 740 HP Drive: Rear-Wheel Price: $1,500,000 Year: 2009 • Summary The Hot Wheels 2009 Pagani Zonda R debuted for the HW Exotics series for the 2022 mainline as a new casting designed by Mattel designer Sonny Fisher. It has a production number of HCT02 and made in Malaysia since 2022. It is based on the 2009-2011 Pagani Zonda R as a limited production track day car produced for the European and American markets only. This example shown here is the 2022 debut mainline release in Nero Ossidana. It was purchased on card at Target for $1.19 on October 10th, 2022. Additional details were made by me. The casting is currently in production since 2022. “If it had wings it would fly. Well, in truth, the Pagani Zonda R DOES have one big wing and it does fly... on the roads. If you’re looking for subtlety, look elsewhere because the Zonda R is about as extravagant as cars get. Bring a whip for this whip though, because taming its power isn’t for the faint of heart." 2006 BMW M3 2021 Hot Wheels Red Line Club Exclusive Spectraflame Yellow GLH84 The Hot Wheels 2006 BMW M3 debuted for the 2021 Red Line Club as an exclusive model in Spectraflame Yellow. It is based on a stock BMW M3 (E46) Coupe produced from 2000 to 2006. It has a number designation of GLH84 and made in China. It is designed by Brendon Vetuskey (@tuske427), which includes an opening hood to reveal the 3.2L S54B32 I6 inside, added painted disc brakes / chassis / rubber wheels and tires. This casting was supposed to be released in 2020, however it was delayed and released in 2021 instead. It is not to be confused with the Premium M3 E46 released in 2020 and designed by Mark Jones. This example shown is the 2021 debut Spectraflame release was a trade gift I acquired from @fastwalker165 , numbered 17194 out of 20,000 pieces made. Value: $65.00 - $300.00 (Another case where the prices have skyrocketed.) Vehicle Overview: “The 2006 BMW M3 (E46) is the third generation model of the BMW M3 series, which replaced the M3 E36 in 2000. Unlike the previous generation model, the E46 M3 was not available as a saloon, with body style choice being limited to coupé and convertible. To address criticism regarding the E36 M3's strong design similarity to regular 3 Series models, the E46 features flared and vented fenders, a domed aluminium bonnet, as well as two double exhaust pipes. The E46 received a 3.2 litre straight-six engine with a more linear powerband than its predecessor that redlines at 8000 rpm. Other major additions include a special limited-slip differential capable of sending 100% of torque to one wheel, and floating brake calipers. The E46 was available with an optional SMG sequential paddle shift gearbox, which also found usage in other M models. The E46 was the last M3 to have a unified chassis code throughout all models, and was replaced by the E92 in 2007.” Source: Need for Speed Wiki #hotwheels #hotwheelsnyc #toyphotography #hotwheelsdreamteam #hotwheelsofficial #2006 #bmw #bmwm3e46 #redlineclubexclusive #redlineclub #2021 #hwcnyc

Yesterday I posted a phone snap of this wagon. I'm currently in the middle of packing to move 2,450 miles after living 20 years in NYC, and 13 in this current place. My feed will be changing a little but over the next couple weeks, I do have lots of studio shots waiting to be tagged and processed, but I'll be sharing pics from the drive as well.
