How do I ever begin to describe my sophomore year at Dark Nights? I honestly didn’t think this year could top last year, but I couldn’t have been more wrong. While last year was exciting because it was the first year, this year was exciting because people were excited to see how far @hersheypark would up the ante. I was reunited with old friends and met many new coming from all across the country. . . . To my Auntie Mortem’s family: I know you already know how much I adore you. We came in to each others lives as strangers, and came out with a bond that supersedes friendship. We’ve laughed, danced, and cried together - among other things. We had the huge responsibility of living up to the hype that Hershey had set up for our house prior to the season, and we did just that. We created something really special at the Abattoir, and I will miss you guys greatly. I love you all. AUNTIES…!!! . . . What a gift it is to be able to work a contract where everyone loves and supports each other. I wouldn’t have wanted to spend the last 2 months with anyone else. ♥️ . . . Thank you to the entire Dark Nights cast, makeup team, costume team, stage managers, techs, talent supervisors, house attendants, and so many more I know I’m forgetting. Last night was an emotional one for sure. Last night we closed Hershey Park Dark Nights and my first ever acting contract ended. I went into this experience nervous I wouldn’t fit in and I convinced myself it was actually a mistake and wasn’t meant for me. When I tell you I couldn’t have been more wrong. This cast. Just wow. I don’t even have the words to describe how much I love each and every one of these individuals. They’re all insanely talented people with hearts of pure gold. They proved to me what true friendship as well as teamwork looks like. They’ve been there for me since day one and inspire me every single day. We truly are a family and I thank god I was placed in Auntie Mortem’s with them. To my cast, you mean the world to me but you already know that! Harrisburg has been a lot of fun - spent our first evening at @hersheypark Dark Nights where Taylor has been working as a scare actor in a haunted house. Weather was great so it was packed!! We made it on a few rides - never ridden rides like these that make you question your sanity but so much fun! Never have I screamed from being so terrified from the drops, speed and crazy fast speeds of these rides. Pure awesome and very happy that we can still manage rides like that. Wild Cat was one where I literally breathless and unable to get a sound out at the 82 degree drop going 62 mph. It was awesome! It finally happened. I rode Storm Runner in the rain! And in the front row too! It was amazing. I couldn’t keep my eyes open. My face felt numb afterwards but it was SO worth it 💙 Now if only I could ride Skyrush in the rain. That’d be GREAT. Oh! And they FINALLY - after two years - fixed the timing on the voice to the launch.
