Simple Baklava Roses- this simple dessert is so easy to make and yet looks spectacular. With only a few ingredients, you can whip up an amazing dessert that will impress anyone. Remember, if you do try these recipes, make sure to let me know what you think so I can improve and learn ๐Ÿ˜Š Ingredients: Filo pastry Melted butter Caster sugar Crushed walnuts and pistachios 1/4 cup Honey + 1 tbsp rosewater Dried rose petals Method: Place your filo pastry on a clean surface and cut lengthways. Make sure you cover your filo with a damp cloth whilst not in use to avoid drying out. Brush your filo with melted butter and sprinkle with your pistachios, walnuts and sugar on the top half of your pastry. (Roughly a tbsp of each) Now fold up the bottom half of your filo and press down firmly. Brush the top with more butter. Starting from one end, roll your dough into a rose shape and place in a muffin tin. Repeat with remaining filo pastry until you fill all your cases. Brush the tops gently with butter and bake on 180c fan forced for 10-15 mins or until golden brown. Whilst your dessert is cooking, mix 1/4 cup of honey with 1 tbsp of rosewater. Once out of the oven, drizzle with honey mixture making sure to not break the edges. Let it cool and carefully take it out of the moulds. Decorate with rose petals and an extra drizzle of the honey mixture .
