My favorite lettuce volunteered itself quite nicely, the spinach is now baby sized and ready to start eating. Salads daily are about to be a thing again, can’t wait! I’ve got a ton of eggplant volunteers so I went ahead and transplanted some eggplant as well as about 6 tomato plants, and a couple of varieties of peppers into the garden. Others were potted up. So many didn’t survive because well “someone” forgot to water Friday so I have fewer varieties of tomatoes than planned but still plenty. I like to follow what nature does and then plant from there. The soil temp has been consistently hovering between 55-65. Perhaps I’ll get a jumpstart and perhaps the pending snow this week will wipe them out, but that’s why I have extras. #garden2024 #tomatoes #peppers #Iwontfollowcharts #watchttrees #urbanfarming
