Medium golden yellow colour; fresh, aromas of ripe tropical fruits, pineapple, pear, hama melon, jasmine and honeysuckle. Palate was rich and complex with good weight and roundness. If drank blind I’d have called it a Chassagne, even a 1er cru given the really fine backbone and structure from the VV. And at less than half the price of any decent village Chassagne blanc on the market this ‘22 Paquet truly was a steal.
