Ce dernier n’a jamais été roi, condamné par son propre père à mourir de faim enfermé dans un coffre à riz. Sympa le papa ! Jour 16 - #deoksugung Visite du palais de Deoksugung proche de #gwanghwamun, mélange entre modernité et passé. 🌸 Dans l'ancien bâtiment créé pour recevoir les visiteurs étrangers accueille désormais une exposition ludique pour nous en apprendre un peu plus sur l'histoire diplomatique de la Corée 🇰🇷 notamment avant l'occupation japonaise ! Hanbok princesses 👸🏻 (and prince🤴🏻). Honestly couldn’t have asked for a better trip! I had a lot of questions from people prior to the trip about why I didn’t travel with Billy, and I would joke that I needed space from him. 😅 maybe one day! But all jokes aside, someone needed to look after the three pets at home 🐶🐱 so massive thanks to the hubby for being a trooper! I wanted one last trip before I decide to settle down with the potential of having children in the next few years so what better, than to travel with one of my oldest and closest group of friends (we’re talking nearly 20 years of friendship). Which is why this trip meant a lot to me! Happy to report, we survived 😛 with lots of laughs and stories to tell for the years ahead. We’ve even jokingly started planning our next trip. I know I haven’t even posted a real review, but I haven’t really had time to catch up on things since I got back from Korea. Unfortunately, after the slower, more conscious time spent there, everything just happening so fast here. The truth is that I want to get back as soon as possible, but I’m sure it won’t be less than a month. Why? Because if you don’t just want to run through the sights, a few days are not enough. If you want to be a part of everyday life, of course you have to plan for the longer term. You know, I’m not the traveling type. I’ve never been anywhere alone to go sightseeing, I’ve only traveled by plane twice before, I learned English on my own, so I have problems with grammar, I’ve never had a passport, and vacations were not a part of life for us anyway. Basically, the days pass happily when I am in my room and can draw and create. I don’t even notice, being alone is very easy for me. Of course it’s easy, there’s no one to adapt to, nothing to overthink, you do whatever you want. You are free. . 경복궁 ⛩️🏯🎓 - Ouais je sais, je me crois un peu trop dans un k-drama historique avec cette tenues et mon regard de braise 😂🔥 Visite du magnifique palais gyeongbokgung, le principal sous la dynastie Joseon. Les perspectives, les détails de l’architecture, les couleurs et surtout les hanboks (tenues traditionnelles) sont incroyables.
