I think someone is happy with their new saddle 😍💜 Over the weekend I went to see the beautiful @busy_the_aqha and Benjamin, Julie's new young American Quarter horse, what a stunner! 🤩 Julie has been a member of the LM family for many many years with her older horses. I fitted Benjamin in a new LM JA VSD and I don't know who liked it more! Having ridden in LM saddles for so long, Julie was shocked at the feeling the new VSD gave her. In 2019 I started reading about an impressive right-handed pitching prospect from @lamiradabaseball by the name of @jaredjones17. His father had played in @milb, and Jared was viewed as an early round @mlb pick. I wrote him before the season, and he couldn’t have been more generous, signing my items and enclosing some extras. The @pittsburghpirates popped him in the second round in ‘20. He made his MLB debut Saturday, striking out 10 in 5.2 innings, as Pittsburgh downed the @marlins, 9-3, in Miami. In 2018-2019, I spent a ton of time with the La Mirada Baseball team. I covered them a lot. No matter what event I was at, no matter the state, there they were bringing their signature fire and energy. I was even required by the team to shoot from their dugout during an entire tournament because I was 'good luck'. "For the photos!" became a rally cry because the team knew when they played hard, the photos turned out epic. Jared Jones was part of that team. I have had the pleasure of getting to know him and following his career. As soon as I heard he was making his debut, I began looking to see if I could get to Miami. I knew he was going to go out there and deal. Of course, he is dealing, carrying that confidence on the mound that I got so used to seeing. Congratulations Jared! So proud of you!
