Symbiose - oil on linen 150x100cm This painting is participating in the Luxembourgartprize.com art contest 2022. Symbiosis - as a powerful fusion of the divine feminine with the vegetable kingdom. By cutting down trees – it becomes gasping for breath The felling of trees and the many forest fires touched me deeply, so I had to make this painting. What do we see happening in the major world cities? We keep building, ever higher and higher. Farmers have to disappear, agricultural land is being sacrificed to build new villages and towns. But with the disappearance of many forests, there will be bigger problems in the future. We need oxygen and trees need CO2. We give that to each other – a divine symbiosis of the feminine power of all life on Earth. Not a difficult calculation, if there is then too much CO2 emissions, many more trees should actually be planted. Without oxygen, life for us humans, and all life on planet Earth, is not possible. I want to show that nature has a hard time purifying our polluted air. We need trees. They carry us, and all life. We should be thankful for nature and not destroy nature further. We need to do much more than we have now to save the planet. Women are an important link between people and nature. We took a short break at the Potters Fields Park next to the Tower Bridge. It's nice sitting on the grass and enjoy the Londen Skyline. Many boats pass by on the river Thames. So many people come here and relex. We continued our walk at the #riverbank towards the Borough Market. The first part of this walk way is called the Queen's Walk. What a name. It's very enjoyable walking towards the Borough Market. We were blessed with good weather. At the and of the Queen's Walk way we took the stairs up to the London Bridge. From there towards the train bridge and down into the Borough Market. At the Borough Market we took our time. It's really a nice place with lots of #people. It's looks great with all the light and light coming in from the glass roof. As you can see not many people where wearing a facemask any longer on the 12 of March. COVID is not much in off a thing anymore for most people. The Borough Market is a wholesale and retail market hall in #Southwark. It's one of the oldest food markets in London dating back to at least 12th century. I just took most of this info from Google. We were feeling hungry so we bought some street food.
