Pointe shoes! 🩰 At the International School of Ballet, students begin their pointe work upon entering Intermediate Foundation, after completing their Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) Graded Ballet Exams. The RAD Vocational Syllabus is an in-depth study of ballet that works on technique, musicality, and performance skills. With the goal of preparing students for a career in dance, RAD Vocational Ballet requires intense dedication and commitment. At The International School of Ballet we offer a personalized approach with smaller class sizes and have an enhanced curriculum with RAD syllabus classes and examinations, as well as performance opportunities. RAD Intermediate has many advantages. Upon the completion of the RAD Intermediate exam: - You can become a full RAD member, with access to events and discounts. - You can enroll in the RAD Teacher Certification programs which enable you to later apply to become a fully registered RAD teacher. - You can go forward into the RAD Advanced Vocational levels (Advanced Foundation, Advanced 1, and Advanced 2). At The International School of Ballet we offer a personalized approach with smaller class sizes and have an enhanced curriculum with RAD syllabus classes and examinations, as well as performance opportunities. Master Classes are offered to students in Intermediate level and up.
