Unfortunately we lost a great guy this week, Mykee @interstate37 . Keith Allen is putting on a benefit at the shop for @interstate37 family and funeral expenses. *GoFundMe link in our bio* The benefit is next Saturday May 14th 2022 10am-2pm. Mykee was a fantastic father and husband as well as an avid rider who united so many people through motorcycles. He loved to try the latest and greatest products and tires for all his bikes. We saw his growth through motorcycles from his Ninja 250 to his ZX14r and all the miles in between. Always looking out for others and their families. I just wanted to change my new led lights on "ROUSE", but my mind doesn't work that way!!! I've only filled her up 2 times since I finished her build... Rarely get a chance to ride her, & refuse to ride her at night!!! 8 hrs on our bikes, 9 if u include gas stops, and several hundred miles later, we made it home 🙌🙌🙌 We started with 4 bikes n 2 slingshots leaving Corpus... Of course I had to stop, in Riviera, n say a prayer with my best friend... After that we headed to Falfurrias, Tx where we met up with 2 more riders, from Laredo & Hebbronville 💪💪💪... Than down south to Edinburg we went... Met up with SEVERAL more bikers and a couple of more slingshots!!!🏍🔥🏍🔥🏍🔥 After that, we headed to Brownsville, Tx for a late lunch... Here's a BIG F*CK YOU to all that turned their back on me, said I couldn't do it, or didn't believe in me!!! Today, Feb.17th 2022 I AM 7 YEARS ALCOHOL FREE 😮🥳😮🥳😮🥳 It took me 3 yrs of trying to finally get it right, so the past decade has been HARD AF!!! From out patient to in patient programs, the 12 steps, AA, & nothing seemed to help until i started a relationship with my God!!! I was told faith & prayer would be my greatest weapon, AND IT WAS!!! Nothing gets easier, the temptations are still there & my anxiety is through the roof, but my kids n wife deserved something better, the old Mykee was a piece of $#!+... I'm not saying I'm not a piece of $#!+ anymore, but I do act accordingly and know when to just step away... I'm truly grateful to motorcycles!!! They kept me sain when I was about to give in... Shiiiii+, everyday I feel I'm going to give in, but I don't... Its F*cking hard, but one is too many & 1000's not enough!!! For all u going thru the same situation, I truly feel for you 💯🫂💯🫂💯🫂 I'll keep yall in my prayers!!!🙏🙏🙏 One last thing, THERE IS NOTHING IN THIS WORLD THAT CAN MAKE ANYONE STOP THEIR BAD HABITS, IT HAS TO BE A CHOICE THEY MAKE!!! "ROUSE" is back n better than before!!! Had a lil mishap, nothing too crazy, but figured might as well do a tune up while putting her bk together... 🔧🔧🔧 Her @knfilters was surprisingly really clean, like I had just put her in... 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️ But her spark plugs were another story, luckily my man @dangdano over @dynamocycle is the 🔌 🔌🔌 for spark plugs n got me hooked up for 2 of my bikes... Happy #humpday !!! 💪💪💪 Time to give "KK" a much needed tune up!!! 🤗🤗🤗 Everything's apart, just gotta head to MY toys r us, aka @dynamocycle , and get my spark plugs than put her bk together!!! After my BUILT motor got ruined, before I could even go for a ride, I had to throw this clapped out motor in with probably over 30k miles... I pulled out the spark plugs and they looked like they were the original ones, from factory!!! 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️ I haven't ridden her much because I feel her motors not reliable for $#!+, but I'm going to have to definitely do the valve adjustments & God knows what else... Blessed to be able to work on bikes, can't really consider it a job when u love to change things & can't wait to see the outcome!!!🙏🙏🙏 My boy @tee_mora brought over his grom with some more goodies!!!🔥🔥🔥 Got his handle bars & grips done the other day so today I knocked out his brake/clutch levers, ram mount, and flush mounted integrated turn signals... S/O 2 my man @dangdano over @dynamocycle for the @hotbodiesracing.inc turn signals and a very special S/O 2 my brother @keithwallen for stopping by when he did!!!🙌🙌🙌 The turn signals didn't have resistors, so they were just running lights, and @keithwallen knew the problem asap and we got some resistors off of the @honda_powersports_us CBR 600RR integrated tail light and BOOM 💥💥💥 WE HAD TURN SIGNALS!!! 💡💡💡 and of course finished off the day with an @interstate37 badge to make the bike legit!!!👌👌👌 Tomorrow I have the pleasure of eliminating his fender and adding his integrated tail light!!! The bikes only a cpl weeks old and has already changed so much!!! Next will be exhaust and air filter, for more sound and better performance, but also got the #stuntcage 'N' #12oclock bar, so he can practice his #wheelies... After swapping out clutch cables I had to test her out!!! I mean, with my new @barnettclutchescables racing clutch & @as3performance cable, I had to give her a rip!!! 🏍💨🏍💨🏍💨 Did a quick cruise around the city, to get some sun on her, 🏙🌞🏙🌞🏙🌞 and ppls reactions were as expected...🙌🙌🙌 got a bunch of 👍👍👍 and a few 📸📸📸!!! My clutch wasn't engaging like it should, gears weren't catching and cable had too much slack... So I ended up ordering a green @as3performance Featherlite clutch cable from the UK... Got here in 4 days!!!🥳🥳🥳 Installed it in a few minutes and now she's shifting like she's supposed to!!! I just wanna take today and be thankful!!!🙏🙏🙏 Thankful that I open the doors to this everyday...
