Have you ever had uni? The softest, most buttery umami sushi 🍣on the planet. This uni took an airplane ride all the way from Japan although it is also harvested in Santa Barbara and Maine. It’s an experience you shouldn’t miss if you are an adventurous eater. Only drawback is that it’s a bit $$$ so a few pieces are all you get! Waking up in the 40s this morning has us already day-dreaming of our last trip to @nambanaples for some of Chef Koko’s ramen. With a 17-hour broth and carefully combined ingredients, each bowl comes out of the kitchen as beautiful as can be before you start to dig out the noodles imported directly from Japan. Chef Koko has worked in his home Thailand, then in Japan, NYC, and Miami, but we should all feel lucky that he’s called Naples home for the last 4 years.
