Visionando l’infinito elenco di optional della berlina elettrica Porsche Taycan, ho scelto il protagonista della rubrica “optional più costosi”: l’impianto frenante in ceramica, con pinze freno gialle o nero lucido. Vediamo di cosa si tratta e, ovviamente, il relativo costo. Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake è il nome completo di tale optional che Porsche abbrevia semplicemente in PCCB, si tratta di un impianto frenante dotato di dischi in ceramica rinforzati con fibra di carbonio. Il PCCB, grazie al materiale ceramico, diventa insensibile alle condizioni più estreme, indipendentemente dalla batteria calda o fredda, carica o scarica. Il vantaggio inoltre è dato dal peso, pari al 50% in meno rispetto ad un impianto tradizionale di dimensioni simili. I dischi sono inoltre ventilati internamente e forati, con un diametro da 420mm all’anteriore e 410mm al posteriore. Il costo di tale sofisticato sistema frenante? 9.162€ con pinze gialle o 10.000€ con pinze nero lucido. Considerando che la vettura ha un prezzo di partenza vicino ai 100.000€ si tratta di un optional che rappresenta il 10% del costo della vettura (base). Cosa ne pensi?
