Another banner year for the Stallions and Battlehawks as neither team have left my #1 and #2 spots since Week One. MICH gets a bump up because regardless of opponent, this team has overcome a considerable amount of adversity and has found a way to scrap some tough wins. SA has looked ugly the past 2 weeks, I'm just hoping this isnt the beginning of a skid to end a promising start. The Royals have been a fairly consistent team throughout history, reaching the playoffs in 5 of the last 6 seasons. They have one UFL Championship win in Season 6 where they dismantled the Austin Lonestars. Some twenty seasons later, they would see the other side of that coin being blown out in Season 26's Ultimate Championship, a loss the team is still trying to to bounce back from. Named after queen Charlotte of Mecklenburg-Strelitz shortly after its incorporation, the "Queen City" fittingly adopts the "Royals" nickname for its fictional franchise. The visual identity is built around a crowned lion, an animal associated with power and royalty and in heraldry frequently incorporated in a nation's coat of arms. Additionally, the first significant gold rush in the United States is claimed to have occurred just east of Charlotte which prompted the establishment of the country's first U.S. mint, founded a few years before the historic California Gold Rush in the mid-19th century. There's going to be some crazy overreactions with this week's power rankings... I'm going in the opposite direction. I'm probably underreacting, but so be it. BHM - Undefeated, first team to clinch a playoff berth, and Martinez is the only player that could steal the MVP away from McCarron. STL - Should they be #1? Guess we'll find out this week. SA - A bit of a surprising loss, but they're still second in the XFLC and have been most consistently the 3rd best team in the league. MICH - Uhh, apparently the Panthers like beating blue XFLC teams with last second FGs. You can't argue that the excitement factor was through the roof, and a dub is a dub. Plenty to retool this week in preparation for DC. DC - They improve to 11-1 all time at home, but it's that 33 point home loss from Week 5 that is still too relevant to justify moving them above MICH or SA. HOU - Kept the game vs STL in reach for a surprisingly long time. I don't think the outcome was ever in question, but they didn't let the game spiral out of control. ARL - They probably should have gotten their 1st win of the season, but Bates is HIM. Somehow not eliminated from playoff contention. We are in our ๐ฒ๐๐ต year of traveling for football both college and pro. Today we added @fordfield to our list of stadiums as well as bringing family and friends together for these experiences. โฃOne of our favorite parts of this journey has been seeing others enjoy these games and today was no different!!โฃ โฃ I met Jaime virtually in 2021 when I joined our network marketing company. We met in person in 2022 when we went on the incentive trip we earned to Xcaret in Mexico. Then again at conference in 2023. But today was special!
