Haven't done a surgery/throwing update in a bit. Coming back post surgery I started the season figuring out how to throw without bulky braces, wraps, and sleeves. I still get a little tired/sore and I had to switch to a 2 handed big axe... but hopefully that endurance builds up as we go, axe throwing is an odd motion to train for. I've matched pre-surgery highs in clutches and averages. Fall might see a return to Premier and Tournaments. I think I'll be staying mostly #IATF , I'll still throw #WATL now and then locally but I just don't enjoy the community as much, and really don't like the organization. FIFA of axe throwing. De cero a un maratón en dos años. Qué camino! Es increíble de lo que eres capaz cuando te propones un objetivo y más increíble todavía lo que se consigue en el camino… amigos, salud mental y física, propósito, disciplina, amor propio. Sin querer encontré un refugio en el deporte que menos esperaba y al que más odiaba (todavía un poco). . 42k del maratón de Santiago, distancia más larga que he corrido. La preparación comenzó en enero de este año, fue bastante intensa pero se hizo más entrete con la compañía de los compas de @puconrunners ! Tremendo team 🫶🏻 …la planificación estuvo a cargo de la couch @pao.valle.roa que fue un apoyo fundamental en todo el proceso, sin duda ha sido mucho lo que he mejorado, gracias por tanto y perdón por tan poco! 😂 . Desde el inicio sentí que sería capaz de terminarla, confiando totalmente en todo el proceso. Lo del km 30 es real y desde ahí en adelante la carrera es muy mental, respeto máximo a todos los que se atreven a desafiar esta distancia y de ahí hacia arriba! Hay que estar bien loco para aguantar tanto maltrato jajaj . Lauf in den Mai Dieser Lauf war kürzer als geplant und endete in eine mittelschweren Katastrophe. Eigentlich ja die perfekten Bedingungen zum Laufen. 22 Grad, kühler Ostseewind und ein super Ausblick. Doch eine sehr tückische Strecke. Nach genau 1km machte es knack und ich knickte mal wieder mit dem rechten Fuß um. Dieses Mal aber so richtig! Ich humppelte den Kilometer mit starken Schmerzen zurück. El equipo absoluto masculino consiguió proclamarse campeón de la final del play-off ante @cwcarthago. Tras el empate a 8 goles en Murcia, nuestros chicos consiguieron vencer con un marcador de 7-9 en Cartagena, clasificándose así para las semifinales de la Fase de Ascenso a 2ª División Nacional @rfen_oficial . El equipo absoluto femenino obtuvo una meritoria segunda plaza tras caer por 4-7 y 10-7 en ajustados encuentros frente a las chicas de @cwcarthago. El equipo infantil mixto superó a las escuadras de @cwcarthago y @waterpolo_san_javier @clubwpthader manteniéndose invictos durante toda la temporada, clasificándose para el Campeonato de España Infantil por Clubes que tendrá lugar en Málaga.
