NA builds can get interesting with how much small things can affect the power. If it’s a speed density tune/Ecu, it will also affect the fuel demand. These pulls are on an LS-Vtec Honda. First pull (red) was the final tune with the supplied 2.5” intake likely from a D-series. Second (green)was just the tube removed, step down coupler still there, third (yellow) was just the throttle body, 4th (pink) was a 2.5” intake, and last (blue) was a 3.5” intake all of them were just a short 45deg bend. You can see the 3” was the winner with a 9hp improvement the tune was untouched for this test so you can see the affects on fueling on the third pic. Needless to say this thing needs a 3” intake! But I want people to see this to know that just changing the intake can make a significant change in fueling even on a basic setup. #umstuned #bseries #bpower #hondata #napower #dynapack
