All of my fish fell to wafter hookbaits over a mixture of hydra k, ninja and hot tuna my new three bait mix. They weren't in the edges, so I decided to go old school, fishing a white hot tuna pop up over about 150 baits, 12mm - 20mm, presented on a firm spot I found at catapult range. 3 of the 5 fish landed this week within a small feeding window, seeing 4 bites within 3 hours. The day before when I got to the syndicate I'd seen feeding activity through the chop of the water so baited up and then carried on around the lake. I decided to fish the 3 rods on 3 separate areas along the feeding area and it paid off. Well it's been a long time coming! Due to work, moving house and other non carp related things I have not given those fishes the time they and I need in the last 6 months! However I dropped onto my new syndicate lake for a cheeky 48 and even though it's been on and off manged 6 bites with 5 landed.....including this incredible mirror known as 'The Baby Double Lin' at 36.6lb.
