Four years almost to the day have somehow flown by since these pictures were taken. 🍂 Just a fresh-faced, hopeful little florist, full of curiosity and excitement. ✨ So much has changed since then; in many ways the initial shine of it all has been worn away by the stresses of life, an achey heart steeped in deep disappointments and grief, and just trying to keep afloat in a cruel economy. 🥀 But through it all, the flowers themselves have remained a safe, familiar and quiet space where my soul is fed with beauty and my tattered faith has been kept alive, though it may be limping and short of breath. 🌾 I think I’ll look back on these years and realise even more than I can see now, how much I was exactly where I needed to be. How the flowers carried me, and how God whispered to me through their ruffled petals and twisted stems. ❤️🩹 📷: @acaciachenda
