🤍 A little life update & a dreamy creamy cleanser 🤍 It’s been a little while since I posted on my feed. There’s just been a lot going on so I took a little break from the gram. 💔 Sadly my beautiful Nana recently passed away. She brought so much joy and love to our lives and will be deeply missed. 🚙 My car mirror randomly broke. I arranged to replace it and the replacement was so dodgy! So I re-booked to have a better one installed and when I arrived for my appointment they were closed and totally forgot about me 🥲. 🚿 One of our showers started causing chaos with our hot water system and had to be removed. I must say it was surprisingly fun picking out a new shower though. Anyway I’ve missed chatting to you all and it feels good to be back. 💘 This cleanser is a gem and I’d definitely recommend it for normal, dry or mature skin types. The haircare routine that means every hair wash day is a good hair day @kerastase_official I struggled for a long time to find the perfect haircare combo. Either shampoos and conditioners were too heavy on my thick hair and oily scalp, or they over stripped it and left it extra frizzy and dry. Always chasing the perfect in between I often resorted to cycling between the two to try and achieve a good balance. Earlier this year i noticed lots of hair shedding and breakage so I finally just invested in a range from @kerastase_official and am just so glad I did. Hair goal for 2024: long healthy hair. Holly grail standouts are: 8 Hour Nutrive repair - My ends are prone to severe dryness since they’ve been bleached so much and this encourages me to give it some love and care every evening. I’ve noticed less breakage and silkier ends. Genesis Shampoo - Hair feels clean and shiny, never stripped. ITS NO SECRET that I love @ereperezcosmetics! But I love them even more when late last year i had my birthday (30th December) and got a free Wild Tomato Riche Creme. I have previously spoken about a cult brand I love (@ellabacheaus) and my love for their tomato emulsion/cream which is unfortunately out of my budget (seriously heartbroken as it was the first Ella Bache product I tried so is special to me!). I believe this is a good, reliable option if you are unable to get your hands on the thicker alternative. This cream is lush and rich in antioxidants to neutralise free radicals and support a youthful complexion. Tomatoes are rich in Lycopene which helps to heal dryness and encourages smooth skin texture. This cream contains Tomato seed oil which is great for improving skin elasticity. Other star ingredients include Hyaluronic acid for hydration, cocoa butter, vitamin E, uplifting Lavender and soothing chamomile. Added allantoin (root of comfrey) protects skin and acts as a barrier, making this crème your best urban shield. The result is a rich velvety, buttery, ultra hydrating cream that is like a big drink for the skin! This cream is perfect for all skin types but especially sensitive skin like mine as it so gentle and is a luxurious moment of TLC when putting it on. It sinks into the skin beautifully and plays well under my makeup if I wear it during the day although I prefer to use at night given how rich it is and a little heavy and instead i use the moringa all beauty crème during the day. I love that you can use it by double layering it as a beautiful sleeping mask at night too leaving skin soft and supple. It can be put in the fridge to use as a cold cream to depuff the skin. With the last warm days of the year slowly filtering through, I’ve been trying to make the most of the sunny hours and trying to extend that feeling with the Merimbula candle from @claremakes.
