Not a lot of you know this, but my mom is the reason I have a passion for cutting curls. She could never find anyone locally who could cut her hair the way she prefers, and she had a ton of stylists gaslight her into leaving with a botched cut, or being in situations where they were lazy with diffusing and leaving her damp (or soaking wet!) and straightening her hair; Which in turn ruined her curl pattern and gave her curl shock she had to recover from. I always advocate for everyone to pursue education in that area. School hardly teaches you to do anything - much less cut curls correctly. My curly cuts can last someone up to six months, but I have also done styles that will occasionally last for up to a year, and that is because I cut by head shape, curl pattern, and I listen to what your curls prefer to do. I will not give you a cut your curls will not like, and I am not afraid to tell you that. I am by no means perfect in my curl cuts and I can definitely always learn more, but at least I can leave you with defined curls and a frizz-free diffuse. Existing Clients have the following options: 1.5-hour appointment This appointment is ideal for clients with high density, clients that come in for a haircut every 5-6 months, or existing clients wanting a big change. 1-hour appointment This appointment is ideal for clients that come in every 3-4 months. This is a maintenance cut. I also offer by request 15-minute and 30-minute appointments. These are in between haircuts. 15 minute: Trim or adjustment of bang and bits. 30-minute appointments are ideal to extend the life of a haircut.
