AUTO MAZAR - FINALE All jarred and mostly cured! 💚😁 Did turn out a good run, with a few problems in between, and some learning as well. Solved most of the crucial issues in my environment, automating a dehumidifier, and connecting it to WiFi along with the sensors. Really a life saver! Can go on holidays so peacefully 😍😂 You wanna now the yield, right? Let's talk about some quality first! 😂 Only pheno 2 really kicked in those terps! Amazing smell, taste, nugs, all. Unfortunately was the one that had less space to grow, so it yielded a bit less than the others. Other 2 phenos are not as frosty, also the smell is different. Not as pleasent and not as pungent. But still ok! Haven't smoked much of it yet to get a word about taste/high. Also, I was expecting denser buds, that was the main test on growing an indica (also yield), but I ended up with some airy buds, so I need to find up what am I doing/using that causes that. Might be nutrients. Idk. Overall, the 3 plants in 5gal pots in the 2x4 yielded a bit above 200g. Plus around 50g of popcorn buds that I'll turn into hash someday somehow 😁 it's in the freezer for now. Also around 10g or sugar trim. So, yield-wise it was quite good! They started with 200W, then I added a 100W, and they finished with 200W, so it's hard to get a g/W number. But we can compare with the space, which is 0.72 m2 (8sq ft), and the yield was ~277g/m2 (25g/sq ft). Do you also "Pre Trim" your weed?? First step before trimming for me, removing by hand, all fan leaves and bigger leaves that break easily! Trimming is hard already, and by doing this pre trim by hand, which is a rather quick process, it saves me a lot of time when actually trimming. You can only do this with well dried weed! Otherwise leaf stem won't break by hand. Also, some variaties are better than others for this! Gladly, this Auto Mazar is perfect for this jobs! DAY 91 - AUTO MAZAR I still don't understand how Autos are mostly branded as 90-day from seed to harvest. Do your autos take 90 days, or longer as well? My autos always take longer than 90 days 🤷 Of these 3, only the middle one is almost ready (and she's actually on day 83). The other 2 are on day 91, and there's still, at least, a couple of weeks ahead. The left one I believe it will actually take longer. Of course I might not have the "ideal" conditions, and also I do some defoliation/lollipopping which might also delay them. But would be nice to know exactly what is needed to take the 90 days they advertise. DAY 71 - AUTO MAZAR - 2x4 - 300W These beauties have been suffering a bit these last days. Not only I have been away, but also too much heat and humidity levels. Days are super melting hot here, and I don't really have AC to control it. I have just bought a WIFI temp/humidity sensor, and a dehumidifier. Unfortunately, the dehumidifier needs to be manually turned on 🤦😂 so, I cannot really control it. I'm probably returning it in a few days. For now, it's continuosly on (1st day testing it), and I'll keep an eye on humidity levels. Will shut it down if too little. Also got a mini usb "AC" device, which is like a dissipator (I can put cold water in it). Not sure how it will work but will test it for a couple days. It might help for these incredibly hot days. Regardless the environmental issues inside tent, they are developing mostly well. Buds are forming. Smell is getting better day by day. Plants looking healthy so far! 😍🙈 Clearly, 3x 5gallon pots is a bit too much for this space. I wish #spiderfarmer kits would come with the newer (bigger) tent which is 140x70cm. I bet the extra space would be perfect for these 3! Pheno 3 (right) is being quite faster than Pheno 1, which started to flower a few days earlier. The defoliation has been harder on Pheno 1, so I suspect it stunt her a bit. The little Pheno 2, never had much space to grow and is clearly being pushed to its own space 😅 therefore, I've hard lollipopped her, so I expect few, but great buds from her! WEEK 5 UPDATE - Auto Mazar - 2x4 Week started with some damage from the previous week, where I was on holidays, and they suffered from high humidity levels. During this week 5, I've corrected the environment issues, and fed them with the first Fish-Mix dose. I also raised the lights substantially. The idea is to try and stretch them and see how far can I fill the tent, not only horizontally, but also vertically! I decided not to train this run, exactly to see if I can actually fill the tent with some vertical trees. As you can see in pictures, there are some spots on some older leaves. Plant #1 has those since day 1, so I'm not sure that it is something wrong on the environment, or even something I can correct. I'll be keeping a close yeah, but not really worrying too much about it. Overall, plants are growing just fine! Just setup the #SF1000! Got really nice alongside the #SF2000 from Spider🕷️Farmer! Too bad they don't recommend to daisy chain different models, which I actually tried and was not able to make it even work. What makes me believe that the dimming modules are actually different between models. Which might be a good thing if it means they are working on it and getting it better as they've been doing with their latest products. Being the #SF1000 a great example of that! Just popped some #AutoMazar from @dutchpassion.official today! Will go for 3x 5gallon pots this time, and my idea is not to train them that much and let them grow taller. Just some good defoliation and lollipopping. Maybe use the Scrog net to spread them a bit. It will be hard to compare results with such different varieties (in this case, I'm even changing from sativas to indicas), and that's why I bought more seeds of each this time, so I can get better comparisons next time. I'm also waiting on a #SF1000 to arrive so I can join it to my current #SF2000 which will give each plant their own 100W.
