La chara yucateca (Cyanocorax yucatanicus), perteneciente a la familia de los cuervos y semejantes. Es cuasiendémica de la península de Yucatán, habita en Belice, Guatemala (El Petén), y sur de México (Quintana Roo, Campeche, Yucatán y Tabasco). Su hábitat natural son los bosques secos subtropicales o tropical y los bosques antiguos degradados. Que en los viajes vivimos momentos increíbles es así. Esta fotografía es uno de esos momentos increíbles que disfrute en Punta Allen (México) el poder ver este águila pescadora en su nido con las crías dándoles de comer. Fotografiarla desde la barca en la que íbamos, con el vaivén de movimiento fue para mí una lucha contra mi cabeza y el párkinson.
