#bf15invitedbuilder @djp210 - Done with the rear section of my #BornFreeShow bike. It’s been quite the saga. I wanted to weld the whole fender to the frame and mold it in with metal. Got most of the way done and realized I wouldn’t be able to remove the rear wheel 🤦🏾. Video tells some of the tale. This was a definite case of problem/solution/problem/solution. Happy with it all at the end of the day. Seat pan is heading to my long time friend @pineapple_jay who is gonna cover it for me. Making progress every day! Enclosed my fender/oil tank area and pressure tested. Decided I wasn’t happy with my tanks and remade for a 3rd time. #bf15invitedbuilder @beware_choppers - Huge update on my #bornfreeshow 15 build. When I built Mr. kool Ice last year I had a lot of ideas that didn't make it so this will be the wild sequel. Pulling inspiration from my last build and digging deep into the wacky, Midwest styles of Tiny the beautifuls yellow panhead, I racked my brain, trying to make drag tanks look clean and flow with the bike and this my vision. I hand formed scoops from sheet metal to wrap the tapered tanks, with the wild style fillers big thanks to @wolfaxewallace with the help on the tanks. I used round bar and 16g steel to shape the front and rear legs to give it something extra, double country bars to match the tanks, windowed neck and trimmed axle plates all this will be wrapped around an insane 1945 knucklehead motor built by @the74ormore. after making sure everything goes where it should on assembly I'll hit the booth and lay down some candy paint & pin striping to make this build look like it rolled straight out of the 60's . Tank, sissy bar, clutch pedal, seat pan and pretty much all other fabrication was done by @metallhaus. Handlebars were made by @dzwicker. Magneto chromed, polished and rebuilt by 74ormore. Huge update on my @bornfreeshow 15 build. When I built Mr. kool Ice last year I had a lot of ideas that didn't make it so this will be the wild sequel. Pulling inspiration from my last build and digging deep into the wacky, Midwest styles of Tiny the beautifuls yellow panhead, I racked my brain, trying to make drag tanks look clean and flow with the bike and this my vision. I hand formed scoops from sheet metal to wrap the handmade tapered cylinder drag tanks with the odd ball filler necks big thanks to @wolfaxewallace with the help on the tanks. I used round bar and 16g steel to shape the front and rear legs to give it something extra, double country bars to match the tanks, windowed neck and trimmed axle plates all this will be wrapped around an insane 1945 knucklehead motor built by @the74ormore. after making sure everything goes where it should on assembly I'll hit the booth and lay down some candy paint & pin striping to make this build look like it rolled straight out of the 60's . I'm really looking forward to finishing this one up. Stay tuned!
