I just had to make this cute little sign for our grandson that is coming very soon. If he is anything like his dad he is going to LOVE construction trucks! I cut this out is 1/4 Purebond Maple and painted the too layer and stained the back layer. Custom order for a customer’s mom. She was complaining that her drinks were not staying cold in the Arizona heat. So her son said I know the lady to make you a cup. He told me she spills a lot so I told him that I have a spill resistant cup. And he was like Sold. Green is her favorite color so I put some fine and chunky glitter mixes to create this gem. I had a supervisor in my work area yesterday when I got an upgrade. Dude rarely comes into my work area but when he does he likes to lay in the chair. We had gotten some pieces of glass and I told my hubby I would like to use that in my work area because @crystalaccompany will wipe right off. I initially wanted him to build me some cabinets but he found some nice cabinets instead. It sits up pretty so I will have to stand to create my cups which I usually did anyways. I bought a cheap air brush machine off amazon and I definitely hit what I paid for. This week I upgraded my air brush machine to this cutie. Cups are surviving the AZ heat. I was testing 2 different types of epoxy. One is good up to 200 degrees and the other up to 500 degrees. Neither one is showing signs of melting. Plus my husband takes his coffee cup to work and leaves it in the car (gray color car with tinted windows ... temp gauge said 118 today for the car) and that cup is done with the lower temp epoxy. So I think I could use either one but I’m liking Faux Rizzle the best. I have to use less and less bubbles in it. #cactusairdesigns #producttesting #customtumblers
