Use it or loose it. I could really feel it’s been a while since I’ve used soft pastels as my main medium. So my plan for this year is to be back to it. Let’s start off with this little piece of urban daily life scene. I took this photo a year or two ago while on the train in Dresden Neustadt. I hope this coffee place is still there and I’ll drop in for a cup of coffee (decaf for me, actually:)). “Coffee, anyone?”, soft pastel on sanded paper, 25x33 cm. I’m still here. A bit of unexpected time off work meant I had time to put together something quick. One of the residents at work requested a kangaroo… so after a few hours at the desk, here it is!
