Eeeek I’m so exited to be hosting my very first Reiki infused sound bath in colaberation with @illuminatedjoy (Reiki & Meditation) & @jewelbeloved1 (restorative movement class) @thebeautybarnspa 💫 Playing my crystal alchemy bowls is something that has helped me deal with my PCS during some hard times. 💫 It was my occupational Tharipist that suggested daily breath work & meditation practices to help with symptoms. 💫 Before the accident that was once something I only did when I attended a yoga class or was on vacation and found the time. Now I make a point to try and integrate this into my daily routine & it’s been a blessing. 💫 Since I’ve discovered sound therapy it has amplified my practice and it’s something I truly look forward to each day. I just recently started to dive deeper into sound therapy and was shocked to find out that certain sound waves (including those that crystal alchemy bowls create) can actually help with brain injury’s and it’s been implemented in many hospatils. Not only is it beneficial for that but also memory loss Alzheimer’s and so many more issues like Significantly reducing stress and anxiety. WE ALL DO IT...ECDYSIS, the scientific term for #SheddingSkin or #Molting. It is a common process throughout nature. We all know that snakes do it as well as butterflies and hermit crabs. Admittedly, it would be really creepy to see a person just step out of their entire old skinsuit at once the way a snake does. 😱 Could you imagine coming home finding an empty shell of dried up skin that could easily be mistaken for a dead body, the way a hermit crabs exoskeleton looks when it's done with its molting process? 😆 Not to mention the #Monarchcaterpillar 🦋 and how it actually sheds it's fur all at once as the chrysalis emerges from the inside. 🤔 Completely off topic, I've had hermit crabs as pets, I used to raise monarch butterflies and I am dying to have a pet snake. I think I may have an obsession with creatures that go through a molting process. Anyway...Shedding that which we have outgrown or no longer serves us is a natural part of life. The level of discomfort during this process can vary from creature to creature, person to person and situation to situation. For example, I treated myself to a self-care ritual that was all about forgiveness, cleansing, releasing and setting my intentions, now that I've made room in my auric field, during the full moon last night. On the flip side, today I am sick, LIKE SICK SICK...headache, nausea and tiredness, but I know and understand that I'm feeling this way because of my level of #MindBodySpirit connection and the effects the energetic purge is having on my physical body. Getting back to the point, as Spiritual Beings having a Human experience, we shed too, on the literal, but smaller scale, physical sense as well as in the energetic and non-physical form. I won't get into the how to manage your physical pain and discomfort during the energetic shedding process.
