Week 2 game preview: Auburns week 2 opponent is the California Golden Bears. Auburn opens up as a touchdown favorite over Cal. California was projected by many to be a below average team but after their 58-21 win over North Texas Saturday Auburn will have to be on their A game. Last Saturday Cal had one of the best offenses in all of College football as they totaled almost 700 yards and over 350 rushing yards. Week 1s Offensive and Defensive players of the week. On the offensive side many players had great games but none came close to Robby Ashford who had the hat trick with 3 TDS. On the defensive side there were a couple players who could’ve gotten it, but it really came down to Jaylin Simpson and Donovan Kaufman. But I do believe Kaufman had the greatest impact on the defensive side of the ball against UMASS.
