Angelo Blackson (‘15) and Bo Nix (‘21) are two of the newest @broncos and we look forward to watching them play this year. Angelo Blackson was credited with 65 tackles (17 for loss and 4.5 sacks) during his time at Auburn. He was the 100th Overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft by the Tennessee Titans. The DE has 179 career tackles (8.5 sacks) in the NFL. Please welcome @angeloblackson! In his 3 seasons at Auburn, Bo Nix threw for 39 TD and rushed for 18 more. A starter as a True Freshman, he was responsible for many big moments in his time as a Tiger, including exciting wins over Oregon and Alabama in 2019. The Harrison College of Pharmacy was recognized last night at the National Association of Chain Drug Stores (NACDS) Annual Meeting as one of just three recipients of one of the NACDS Foundation’s innovation-focused awards! The awards support patient-centered, community-based coursework or other curriculum innovations that advance pharmacy education, in addition to the health of communities. HCOP will use the funds to further the implementation of a new student-run free clinic addressing health care needs in the community. 🥟 Wednesday Menu 🥟 Yo #Dumpsters! It’s graduation week, and we can’t wait to serve you all! Bringing back some of your fave baos and buns this week, along with the usual good stuff. So be on the lookout for the changing menu. We’ll be doing Friday night dinner as well FOR THE LAST TIME for about a month, so make sure you come grab dindin. We won’t be doing soup dumplings, but will have baos (usually reserved for lunch), dumplings, noodles, buns, etc. It’ll definitely be a faster-paced dinner service (resembling lunch) than what we have when we serve soup dumplings. Our family and I will be leaving for China for three weeks next Sunday, but we will be OPEN AS USUAL for lunch while we are gone. And instead of posting customer pics with the daily menus, we’ll be posting our China travel pics instead! In this episode Justin Chezem, head coach of Christopher Newport University men’s soccer and I welcome Matt Bevins, the Chief of Staff of Auburn University Football. Matt was originally a youth soccer player before becoming a standout kicker and eventually place kicking in college at Liberty University where he put his name in the record books. He stayed connected to athletics at Liberty and when the head coach, Hugh Freeze took the head coaching position at Auburn, he took Matt with him. 6th times the charm!! Lowkey, it's always bothered me that I never had a sub 4 hour marathon. I've always hit the wall or cramped and had to walk portions. Well, not no more!!! Thanks Eugene marathon. Took a lot of trial and error but I've nailed my breakfast and in-race nutrition and the results are there. PR'd my half, 16 mile, 20 mile and now marathon this year. For the third year in a row, more than 70 Harrison College of Pharmacy graduates are moving on to residency programs and fellowships across the country! Of the 76 total this year, 51 are moving on to PGY-1 programs and a record 24 to PGY-2, along with one fellowship. HCOP also posted a 91% PGY-1 match rate and a perfect 100% on PGY-2. Covering the country, HCOP residents are moving on to programs in 22 different states while 26 are remaining in state to care for those in Alabama.
