Let's tell you more about Sanj: Hi, my name is Sanj I am married to Pritpal, those close to me will know my maternal journey wasn’t easy, but with strength, determination and hope we were blessed with two children Ashwan, aged 6 and Amrisa, aged 2. I have worked within the corporate sector, full time for over 22 years building my career as a Human Resources specialist. I have supported coached, developed employees and Managers, and now I feel the time has come to utilise these skills within my own business. My main focus and what is really important to me is supporting my family life and developing the relationship with my children, especially during these vital early years. I have realised the importance of play with my children is paramount for their growth and development. The more I play and interact with them, the more they become engaged with me. As a parent hearing the words “mummy play with me” is a call out for “I want to engage with you”. I soon discovered this is what I wanted to do! Play with my children and still work. Having done lots of research I came across Pop Up Play Village which was exactly what I was looking for. Children model parents, I regularly watch my children play offices, pretending to be on calls using the mobile phone and using a laptop to type emails – I could see they were role playing me! Pop Up Play Village offers various role play activities and I’m so excited to be sharing this with you in my play sessions. Prior to this I worked for the NHS as a paramedic. I was in this role for over 10 years and I worked in ambulances, response cars and in the control room. What are our Pop Up Play Village classes like? - When you enter our village, you will get a warm welcome and we will tick you off our register. We do ask customers to book in advance but if we have spaces on the day, you can pay as you enter. Please do check first as when we are fully booked, we can't accept walk ins. - Once you are checked in, you and your children are welcome to explore our village as you like. Our village is open plan and we focus on child led play so children really do own the space and take their play where they like. This creates an exciting, high quality play experience for your children and it gives you the opportunity to relax and enjoy watching what they choose to do. Our village is completely safe including being baby proof and because we don't have any borders or backdrops, you can see your children at all times. It is designed to be fun, enjoyable and stress free for everyone. - During the class, our franchise owners or staff will be there to support you and your children in their play and we will also go around and tidy the village now and then as children finish playing with items so that our play areas always look engaging to play in. - Children can play right up until the end of the session in order to maximise their play time. When the time is up and it is time to go home, we will support you to get your children to put their shoes on usually with the mention of a sticker which always works well!
