📦 Y’all... I just posted our Moving Vlog to my YouTube Channel!! Finally!!! 😆 ...and if you cant guess it by these photos our fixer upper home was NOWHERE near move-in ready! But our other house sold so fast we had to move into construction regardless! 🔨 - To catch you up... we decided last year that we wanted to say goodbye to debt and payments in order to simplify our life... to be able to choose where and how we want to make a living rather than feel stuck in jobs because they simply “pay well”... we weren’t drowning in debt but we just wanted a different life. ☀️ - At the time we made the decision we had a motorcycle loan 🏍 , a car loan 🚙 , and a mortgage 🏡 that took both our incomes to live comfortably. - To change this, we paid off and sold the motorcycle, bought a 1,000 sq. ft. fixer upper house on a 15 year mortgage with 20% down, sold our 3,300 sq. ft. home to get rid of the 30 year no-money-down mortgage, paid off the car loan with the small amount of equity we got from our large home and officially downsized! - Now our house payment is half the cost of our old house and we’re cash-flowing all our renovations to make it a beautiful home exactly how we want! And once remodeling is complete well work on paying the already-much-smaller-mortgage off even faster, Lord willing. - You can follow our entire downsizing journey over on my YouTube channel, “Christy Lyn” which is linked in my bio.
