On 29 April 1815 #AlessandroAntoldi was born in Mantua. With a legal background, he was, however, involved in teaching music throughout his life, creating a free singing school in his home. Antoldi invented the first keyboard harp, with which the strings were plucked by a keyboard instead of by the fingers. He died in his own city in 1897; a plaque placed at the Accademia nazionale virgiliana, commemorates him. Il 29 aprile 1815 nasce a Mantova Alessandro #Antoldi. 4/28 ピカピカの春の日に、兵庫県西宮市の素敵なミヤパゴスさんの アトリエで、ミニハープワークショップを開催させていただきました✨ いつの間にか集まってきた我が家のミニハープたち(➕キッズ用e-harp)が、この空間に並んだらきっと似合うだろうなぁと思い、パゴスホリデーに入れていただいたのでした。なかなか1人では企画できなかったと思うのでご協力に感謝です。 エントランスホールは響きが良くて、やはりハープにピッタリ♡ 前半では比較的小さなお子さん、パゴスっ子ちゃんが、親子でワイワイと楽しんでくださり、後半は高校生や大人の方も混ざって集中して三曲仕上げましたよ🎵 見学に来られたフランス人のおじさまも、小さなハープを小脇に抱えてカッコよく弾いてくださったり^_^ その後、ミヤパゴスのマリさんケンタさんたちとFika♡ 尽きない楽しいお喋りにすっかり癒されて帰宅したのでした。 引き続きまたハープに関する楽しい企画ができたらと思います♫ ご参加くださったみなさま、ミヤパゴスさん、ありがとうございました！ #miyapagos #ミヤパゴス #miniharp #ミニハープ #harp

I picked up a copy of our local library magazine today and discovered this article about the recent 'Robert Burns' performance at Greerton Library. This concert grew from my offer to play Scottish tunes in the background to a large gathering of enthusiastic listeners with organized and impromptu poetry recitations along with interesting anectdotes and lively discussions. Tauranga City Libraries have since organized for me to play the harp on a regular basis at each of the four Libraries (the first Thursday of each month). I found this harp on the side of the road, and I was very excited to do something with it… and then I was extremely unhappy. I count not for the life of me figure out what to do with it and I had so many all over the place ideas that were not grounded in wanting to make art, but instead feeling forced to use this instrument. Then at some point while laying in bed, I realized that doing a simple gesture with it might be the most powerful. (EN) Duo Boreal finds its origins within the revered halls of the @mozarteumuniversity in Salzburg in 2019. United by a shared passion for chamber music, they formed as a duo under the guidance of the esteemed performer Isabel Siewers, whose mentorship sculpted their artistic vision. The duo embarked on a transformative journey, enriching their musical tapestry through masterclasses with Stephen Fitzpatrick, principal harpist of the @staatsoperberlin , concert artist @laurayoung.guitar , and composer @simfontan21 . That same year, they were awarded the third prize in the Savarez-Corelli competition. From then on, they parted ways to develop as solo performers and continue their master’s studies at the @koninklijkconservatorium in The Hague and Mozarteum University. Now, reunited once again, Duo Boreal embarks on a new chapter, interpreting representative works from different artistic trends and historical periods, thus offering a panoramic view of performance and compositional development from the Baroque era to the present day. ——— (ES) Duo Boreal encuentra su origen entre los venerados pasillos de la Universität Mozarteum de Salzburgo en 2019. This is what I like the most about busking: these magic moments when people passing by stop and notice there's something going on. In that moment, they stop thinking about appointments, plans, responsibilities, tasks, worries or pain. They are just there, living that very intense moment, feeling free, enjoying life and thinking, what a wonderful world 🤎. Although I can't always look at them, I feel their presence and there's a fire growing inside of me, giving me tons of energy and inspiration to express deep emotions through the music. For me, this is such a grateful thing.
