남들은 홍콩 놀러가면서 마카오도 당일치기로 다녀온다고 하지만, 우리는 3박 4일 동안 마카오에 베이스를 뒀다. 하루는 홍콩 다녀왔고, 하루는 도착하고 체크인하고 저녁 먹다가 지나갔으니 실질적으로 마카오를 돌아볼 수 있었던 시간은 하루 하고 반나절이었다. 이 마저 길다는 주장도 있다. 마카오는 하루면 충분히 다 본다고. 사진 좋아하고 술 좋아하고 웅장한 걸 좋아하는 나 같은 사람들에게는 하루와 반나절은 너무나도 짧은 시간이다. 삼각대 하나 던져주면 야경 찍는 데만 일주일씩 보낼 수 있을 것 같다. 일주일이 뭐야. 1일 1호텔만 잡아도 한달도 부족할 수 있다. 이번 여행에는 우리가 묵었던 @the_londoner_macao 근처 몇몇 호텔들을 중심으로 돌아봤다. 호텔들의 규모가 워낙 어마무시하고, 호텔과 호텔 간 거리도 생각 보다 멀어서 도보로 커버할 수 있는 면적이 제한적일 수밖에 없다. 마카오 호텔들 진짜 멋지더라. 카지노 최소 베팅 금액이 17만원부터 시작하는(그것도 어쩌다 있는 것일 뿐 대부분의 테이블들은 최소 베팅 금액이 50만원부터 시작한다) 거대 기업들 답게 건축 설계와 디자인에 돈을 하나도 아끼지 않았다. 그래서 별 목적지도 계획도 없이 코타이 스트립을 걷는 것만으로도 재미가 쏠쏠하다. 그리고 개인적으로 되게 고무적이었던 건, 삼각대부터 아주 주렁주렁 장비들로 완전군장한 인플루언서들, 카메라 크루 등 촬영하는 사람들이 엄청 많다. 우리나라 호텔들에서는 DSLR 하나 잘못 꺼내도 보안팀이 바로 붙는데 마카오에서는 아주 마음 놓고 촬영할 수 있어서 좋았다. --------------------------- [협업, 리뷰, 촬영 문의 대환영!] 👉 자세한 내용은 DM 문의 주세요 [상호 무페이 스냅 촬영 모델 신청] ✔ 남녀 모두 환영 ✔ 주말 약 2-3시간 야외 촬영으로 진행 ✔ 신청은 DM 주세요!(비공개 계정 불가)

Day 11 - We started our day by visiting the Macao Giant Panda Pavilion where we had the chance to see real life pandas! It was our first time seeing this incredible creatures. The entrance is free and there’s also more animals than the pandas, like monkeys, flamingos and a red panda among others farm animals. After that, we took the bus to Taipa Village. This is a small picturesque place that we recommend the visit. Macao: Part 1. The glitz, the glam, the shiny surface of it all. We stayed here to celebrate a friend's birthday, and while parts of the Cotai Strip (a gambling mecca that rivals - or even surpasses? - Vegas) are undeniably spectacular, I mostly found myself overawed by this district, dominated as it is by gargantuan, crude facsimiles of European landmarks and so. many. people. All these architectural paeans to exorbitant wealth blew my little mind apart. It's interesting from a sociological perspective and I got some fun pics, but as someone who has zero interest in gambling and who's been lucky enough to have seen the inspirations for all this sheen in years past, I reckon the beauty of Macao lies elsewhere.
