Another Detroit Day! Still working on the frico game, but it seems I have everything else figured out pretty much by now. 1. Par baked for 15 minutes on the lowest rack at 250 degrees celsius. 2. Added lots of cheese and pepperoni, then in for another 12 minutes on the highest rack. 3. Topped with cooked and well seasoned tomato sauce (salt, sugar, fennel seeds, garlic, oregano, chili flakes) All done in the @oonihq Detroit style pan. ---- Detroit Day! Ich arbeite immer noch an der Frico Käsekrone, aber alles andere klappt mittlerweile ziemlich gut. 1. Teig vorbacken für 15 Minuten auf dem niedrigsten Einschub bei 250 Grad. 2. This one was good. It was a “One-Slicer”. You could eat just one slice for a meal, and be completely satisfied. Double layers of pepperoni, 0.75 LBs of Hot Italian Sausage. 0.85 LBs of cheese, and a healthy dose of Jalapeños. All of that baked into a 6”x6” pan. Savory Detroit Style Pizza for a Taste of Motor City Ingredients: 1 pound pizza dough 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese 1 cup pizza sauce 1/2 cup pepperoni slices 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese 1/4 cup olive oil 1 teaspoon garlic powder 1 teaspoon dried oregano 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional) Directions: Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan with olive oil. Press the pizza dough evenly into the bottom of the prepared pan, stretching it up the sides slightly to form a crust.
