4 weeks today! They're absolutely thriving! All are showing their playful nature. The weights and personality updates as they're at the age now where they're really starting to show them Winton: 406g, Winton seems to be very adventurous and isn't fazed by much goes head first to investigate and absolutely loves people, follows me around and comes out when we call out to them (minus the times when he sleeping or eatting) love faces too! ☺️ Buddy: 446g, Still the biggest... We have noticed he's a bit more timid and anxious compared to his brothers, I didn't handle him as much in the first week like I did with his brothers as he didn't need top ups from the bottle, when he's comfortable though he lets his playfulness shine! First one to rip into a toy with his shiny new Chompers that are slowly coming out 💕 we'll be working on handling him a whole lot more to help with the anxiety. Rocco: 415g, Lil man is still so placid, he is playful with his brothers but seems to like to sit and observe. He does like to investigate and adventure around but not as quickly as Winton. Mama is so happy with them getting bigger, she's trying to play with them which is so funny to watch. We've introduced Jett a couple times (unfortunately didn't have a camera) he's more worried about them then they are of him! He just really wants to play but you can see he knows they're fragile 💕 anyway I hope you're having a wonderful evening. Also here's the updated enclosure, sorry about the mess near the food... Day 7: TODAY MARKS THE DAY! THEY ARE A WEEK OLD YAAAAY 🎉🎉🎉🎉 Sooo happy! The first two weeks are a very important time, especially the first week... Problems thriving will arise for any reason and we can intervene and help if possible. These babies haven't shown anything other then Winton and Rocco in the first two days needing help gaining weight but they sorted themselves out quite quickly 💕 we're watching Rocco closely as he isn't jumping in weight like his brothers but he's gaining weight well and is extremely healthy! It's just a personal preference that he jumps weight it bit more 😁 want the best start for him! Today's weight! Winton: 161g he's catching up to his brother Rocco! Buddy: almost 200g, 193g!!! Only 7g to go and he'll hit that marker! Rocco: we have two eyes open!!! Still very cloudy so he probably will only be registering changes in lighting, but it's still just as exciting!!!! I think Rocco loves his brother buddy a bit too much... 🤣 And today's weights ares! Winton: he's 139g today, you can tell he's smaller then his brothers but not by much! They're all starting to get that chonky look on them rather than being skinny legends. Still very opinionated, tells mama Daisy what for if she moves away from him. Buddy: 168g, still the biggest boy, he's got SUCH a fat milk belly on him... Think he's going for the suburban dad look 😁 also just as opinionated as Winton when mama leaves...but that's because he's a foody. Rocco: 146, still behind buddy but he's beating him in one thing... Day 4: First enclosure clean afer the babies have been born, we like to keep their enclosure clean throughout their time with us as it promotes good health and a clean environment for mama. We use F10 veterinarian disinfectant to mop the enclosure floors,walls and food matts, refresh mamas water, tidy her kittylitter, top up mamas bickys and get her a fresh plate of Felix wet food sachets (the jelly is her favorite) and change blankets/bedding if needed. Today's weights! Winton: 122g, he's gained so much since yesterday... I've decided to back off completely with formula milk as he's now gaining weight on his own fine, I will though bring it back if his weight gain stalls again but for now we have a healthy strong lil man 💕 Buddy: this lil man's gonna be in the 200g range soon he's at 152g's!!! Big boy 😍 Rocco: 131g, this lil man is super chill compared to his brothers when I weigh him. Honestly doesn't care when I pick him up and stroke his head. Daisy is happy and well, a bit alert as you can see in these photos as I had to remove their bed from the enclosure to clean it ... White: we've nicknamed this little boy Winton, he was born at 79g's and was also born first. He's a very vocal little thing. Mouse gray: we've nicknamed this chonky boy Buddy , he was born second and is the biggest out of the three born at 95g!!! He is such a foody 💖 Mixture coat: the last baby, this lil mixed coated boy Rocco, he was born at 85g...he seems to be pretty chill and has the most fluff out of the three.
