This trip, we came (mostly) prepared for anything—though clearly not a complete rainout. 😂 Here are a few of our own #disneyhacks we tried: 1) we took two strollers instead of one to give us the ability to separate the babies and also have more room for bags. 2) we packed multiple wrap around fans that we took in line with us and also used on the strollers. (We recommend Amacool on Amazon). 3) we packed snacks and drinks for the boys, which we had no issue getting through security. 4) we packed hand-held misting fans for the older kids. These worked okayish but not the best. 5) we packed multiple clothes changes for the boys, which ware so great to have—they were constantly getting into things and I felt like I was changing them all day! 6) small first aid kits are also a must for blisters etc. 7) sunscreen, of course! 8) I brought ponchos, but when I didn’t see rain on the schedule, I left them out of the bag. Wish I would have taken them regardless! We had to run through the entire park in a crazy storm! Kids loved it though 😂😂 9) we opted for *free* (yes, free) waters all day, which were a life saver because they were ice cold and perfect for the heat! Some of the cast members even have us huge cups. So much better than the water refill stations! 10) we drove, which we had never done before, and paid for premium parking. This was such a great option instead of the buses!!! I realize you can’t do this if you fly, but we will be driving to the parks every day! 11) we actually left for a few hours in between ride times and came back to our cabin for naps. I utilized this time to make food for everyone, too, and still got in my own nap! The air was exactly what everyone needed! 11) last time we were here, we booked so many meals, and every time we felt completely disappointed, even with the character dining (with the exception of Yak & Yeti). Yesterday, we ate one meal at the commissary and our other two meals we ate at the cabin (one during break and the other when we got back at night). I’m sure I’ll think of some more strategies we used! At the end of the day, I think Charlie & Jack’s favorite ride required ZERO wait time: the stairs. 😂

Baby's first trip to Disneyland turned out a success! There was a minor emergency when we realised we had forgotten his sun hat - the sun had really come out to play with temperatures of 35 degrees and not a cloud in sight. A quick pop into a shop in #disneymainstreet found this cute little Mickey hat that he actually likes enough to keep on his head! Charlie loved Disneyland so much, he couldn't bring himself to nap! He somehow managed to give into sleep during #disneyilluminations, right as fireworks exploded into the sky.
