This past weekend was a trip I’ll never forget. Tyler, Andrew, and I went to @gaaaysinspaaace’s #dnicon2024 where we met some of our heroes! Outside of the convention, we explored Philly and had an absolutely wonderful time!
JG Hertzler is an absolute gentleman and chatting with him at cons is always a delight! And someone put on DS9 in the background for the Friday night comedy show at #dnicon2024 and I found #generalmartok making an appearance during my set! #startrekdeepspacenine #sevenofninecosplay

Had a spectacular weekend of stage readings of original Star Trek DS9 and The Orville scripts at the Galactic Diversity and Inclusion conference in Philly. Loved connecting with old friends and getting lost in Philly with new ones at D&I con! I didn't manage to get a picture with him but I finally got to meet my favorite Vulcan, Tim Russ. Apparently there is footage of him pranking the Voyager cast during the Pon Farr/Opera scene in Tinker, Tenor, Doctor, Spy. (Can someone find that for me please??!) Some highlights from a great time at #dnicon2024
I got to watch Casey Biggs get his Damar prosthetics applied while JG Hertzler sat infront of me and heckled him. Then I sat at a table with Biggs for an hour and talked. I got to see Bob Picardo, Tim Russ & Bonnie Gordon perform live. I got to meet the best Captain Starfleet has ever known. I got to see the dress Kira wore in the birthing scene. I purchased a 16 year old box of Eggo Waffles. And, most importantly, I met so so so so many thoughtful people. Such a unique & intimate experience that other Trek cons do not provide. Here’s to hoping Year Three of D&I Con is even stronger than the last two. And thank you to all the people who took time out of their experience to say hello.
