Last Month we were able to visit some of our client friends in the U.A.E. During our trip we were able to see the โLouvre Abu Dhabiโ, a new cultural landmark and 21st century museum on Saadiyat Island. Designed by the famous architect Jean Nouvel, the amazing structure is covered by an 8-layered dome that filters the sunlight and creates a โrain of lightโ effect within the covered outdoor spaces. Our travels took us from Abu Dhabi to Dubai and we could not help but notice all the new developments that are taking shape (i.e.: Surf City, Velodrome & numerous Resort Hotels). Having a 3-hour layover in Doha on our return flight wasnโt so bad after all, as we were able to relax in the famous โAl Safwa Loungeโ (designed by the Italian Architect Antonio Citterio). Souq Waqif in Doha with Kids: The Souq Waqif is a popular traditional market in Doha and a must-visit attraction for tourists to experience Qatari culture and traditional Arabian market life. We loved browsing the shops, eating delicious chocolate Knafeh, and enjoying the vibrant aesthetic. We particularly enjoyed the children's area across the entrance of the market. There was a small train, as well as camel and horse rides. The kids absolutely loved it, and although the train ride is simple, it was fun to see how excited the kids became.
