This gorgeous record keeper Ruby is calling! LOVE the color and black Tourmaline. I picture it higher up on the chest with its’ dainty, perfect shape. I did an early morning meditation at the river; swipe to see/hear that. I drew the Borage flower card and love the message. Coming back from such a magical place like Hawaii, going back home to hear the same old tragic news, starting up the daily grind, it’s such a beautiful reminder for me. OPTIMISM. Playfulness. Spontaneity. And I thought, I may as well start now. Even with a busy work day, I wanted to make time for what’s important. My inner peace & joy. It takes enormous strength and courage to be able to maintain a positive outlook in the face of a steady stream of negative information the news and media can bombard us with. I almost didn’t go to Maui because of it. I was ready to cancel those plans. Borage reminds us that reality is simply a reflection of our inner landscape. Both the good and the bad. And to remember to look for the good in our world. And the joy in our lives. Going there was the biggest blessing ever. People there were very grateful we didn’t stay away like the news told us to. The thing I take away most from this message is: “how can we possibly create our best lives and contribute to the greater good of the world if we can’t even feel or envision that this world is even possible.” I couldn’t even envision that trip being a happy or safe one. Not after such loss and tragedy over there. Heartbroken for Maui! It’s one of the greatest gifts I got to experience. 💝We need to remember how to play, to dream, to fantasize. Adulthood dulls those feelings. Can you see the rays of sunlight streaming through the windows or the dust that settles on the surfaces the sun highlights? maybe a little of both. (The good and the bad). So it’s our choice to look for the warmth of the sunshine more than that dust that settles. Just for fun, I thought I’d try drilling this amazing LARGE, raw record keeper Ruby plate. It totally reminds me of a Sarcophagus (aka a stone coffin that is usually adorned with an inscription of some kind. It is associated with the ancient civilizations of Egypt, Rome, and Greece).
