Week 8 brings us to @situationbeer , the last brewery planned in the #middletonstakeflight tour for now, and since we're in the neighborhood we decided to hit up @strathconamarket for some fresh @riverbendgarden asparagus which is coming in to season now, and @strathconaspirits #gin. This is our furthest distance so far at about 22km but we’re really hitting our stride and are looking to venture further out. Who knew @shawnamid and I could have this much fun doing physical activity 😜 So since we’ve hit all 7 breweries in @hopscrossingyeg (albeit some before the program began) we’ll shift focus to filling our #craftbeer passports and getting our #swag by revisiting all the great south side taprooms all while we #explorerdmonton on our #norcobikes. Who knows we may load them on the truck and explore other great #microbreweries across town. We're looking forward to @polarparkbrewco opening within range next month and we've got to get to @sycbrewingco and @bentstickbeer somehow. Week 7 of the #middletonstakeflight bike tour brings us to the other side of the river. We loaded the bikes on the truck and headed to @mec for a bike maintenance 101 class, which is conveniently located in the Brewery District. To earn the beer we had to map out some #yeg bike lanes. A quick 6km loop and we’re back near our starting point for a flight and a bite @twosergeants . I’ll take a pint of their barrel aged tequila lime wit any day! From there we made our connection (see what I did there) for a 3.5km loop to @oddcompanybrewing for a pint of their fantastic Raw NEIPA! . . . . . . . #eatwiththemiddletons #willbikeforbeer . #yeg #yeggers #yegbeer #yegeats #norcobikes
