I still have scars where these nasty beauties clawed my feet when I was a kid. We’d catch them at low tide in the little creeks running into #longislandsound They’d furiously scuttle around the bilge of our dinghies as we’d row home with our feet up on the gunwales to avoid their wrath. But are they tasty! Especially sautéed as softshells, just after molting. These hardshells will boil up beautifully, though.
