1st race update... 3rd overall but it wasn't to be our day, after 3 runs we were excluded for noise! Happy overall as the GR Yaris did run very well and the new gearbox worked perfectly, as did the front lsd etc, also happy with the new version G25-660 with larger turbine housing suits the car and gear ratios perfectly. Thank you to Tom for supporting on the maps we did get some good data and some nice fine tuning has got the car crisp and super responsive π Also thanks to Roger for bringing the GT86R along although the car wasn't running in the sprint today we couldn't resist a few photos! What a crazy weekend. From thinking on Thursday that the Brz wouldnβt make it on an hour drive, let alone down to @silverstonecircuit. Weβve managed to drive it with no issues all the way from Scotland, down to @japfest_official and then on to Salisbury without any issues (other than the side skirts being loose). Another GT86 engine rebuild, just finished it's 1000mile run in and remapped π Xiaoyu's 86 got the dreaded rod knock so we rebuilt using a brand new short block and changed the rods for our Brian Crower forged con rods, Cosworth head gaskets, ARP head studs, new oil pump etc. Also the supercharger has been rebuilt. We have 3 engines built this year already, 2 x FA20, the one below is for Jas with a Cosworth supercharger. It now has our "rod only" new short block, ported oil pump to increase high rpm oil pressure, ARP bolts and Cosworth 0.78mm gaskets.
